What is the use by date on the package?

I bought this for my cousin as a Christmas present but when I received it I noticed the sell or use by date (can't remember which) was imminent and hardly suitable to give as a gift. It was a non-returnable item but having complained I received a refund.

Why are the contents the same in the French, Spanish and Italian sets?

They dont look the same to me, sorry. I bought the italian one and my son loves it.

Does the italian set contain garlic?

Seasoning set does contain the following: Herb & Pink salt: pink salt, garlic, herbs, Rosemary, Majoram, Sage, Oregano, Basil, Onion non irradiated. Seasoning: Garlic, Sea Salt, Tomatoes, Onion, Black peppercorns, Basil, Olives, Rosemary, Oragano, Majoram non irradiated
