I wear an Mens XL shirt and ordered the XL jacket. Fits great with some room for your actual shirt/sweatshirt underneath. I would probably go with your shirt size.

I’m 6’3”. there are no tall sizes. would this be a problem if i get my normal size in a non-tall? i realize it’s long already.

Not really and that’s why I like so much. I’m very hot natured and wanted a rain coat just to keep me dry.
