CLEESINK Kitchen Sink Strainer and Stopper Combo for Standard 3-3/8 Inch Drain

It fits perfectly in my Insinkerator disposal drain, straining away, easily catching food scraps and cleaning easily due to its polished stainless finish. And then you push it down and it works as perfect drain stopper, allowing the sink to fill with water. A quick tug and it's back up, straining away as usual. After years of using silicone and wire mesh strainers, this is like moving from wagon wheels to a rocket ship. I'm not sure what it says about me that I have gotten so much joy from a sink strainer, but there you go. I'm very happy to have found this.

I have a single farmhouse style sink with an Insinkerator disposal so I really needed the extra feature of the basket vice a normal stopper. This fit perfectly (the 3 3/8 version as recommended for my use) and simply pressed in. If you pull up on the handle gently or push it down, it opens and closes the drain. if you pull a little harder, the entire thing comes out (so you can clean or put something down the disposal. So far so good. Looks great and works well. It came fast and was just what I needed.

it works great for stopping me from dropping utensils down the drain, but the holes are a bit big and let food bits through. the stopper functionally works great though, it is able to seal well and super easy to transition from sealing to draining

Love this! We moved into a new home with a disposable. In a previous home we were always losing Utensils down the disposal. The disposal would destroy them and it’s dangerous. This is a perfect solution! The allows water and small (think rice) food particles to flow into the disposal but not large particles (think forks/spoons). It doesn’t impede the function of the disposal; it can be run with the device in place. This is awesome because it prevents splash back. Just press down device down to stop the water from draining in the sink. Exceeded my expectations and fits the sink perfectly.

A few issues: although it fits snugly in my drain with insinkerator disposal , it does not seal well enough to function as a stopper (water leaks out of the sink. It is impossible to pull up the knob to use strainer function without pulling the whole thing out, so I can only use it as a strainer with it sitting loosely in the drain. The slots of the strainer are big enough for food particles to slip through, and they get stuck between the upper stainless steel portion and the rubber portion below-making it hard to keep it clean without taking it apart. I used it for about a week to give it a fair trial, but I have abandoned it in favor of a very inexpensive stainless steel drain basket, which keeps food and utensils from slipping down the drain, and a rubber drain cover for when I need the drain plugged. It might work as a stopper on some sinks, and the strainer will prevent utensils and large food particles from going down the drain, but is inadequate for smaller food particles. I don’t recommend this product.

For water to pass by and stain the strainer is too high defeating the purpose. But seals so tightly I can't remove it to clean the strainer

A MUST HAVE for,literally,anyone. I have always wanted soemthing,EXACTLY,something,this. It looks great and is surprisingly functional. This fits tightly into the drain of my kitchen sink. Despite it being a push to close stopper, things weighing down on I doesn't seem to stop it from draining. It is very easy to reach down and lightly pull up the stopper when the sink is full. It drains,surprisingly fast and stops any food from going down the drain. In the event something makes it way through, you can easily clean this by unscrewing the push pin.

Although not as solid feeling or engineered like the original, the quality is still good and does the job well.

The products works like a charm as intended. No more struggling with screw-in type drain plugs, just pop up and away the water goes. If you know someone with a strong arm, have them push down on the plug as hard as they can 3 or 4 times. This will set the rubber that prevents water leakage to the shape of the stainless basket. Otherwise you might have minimal water leakage for a while until the rubber sets itself. The product has an excellent build to it, I recommend.

I've been buying a cheap version from HDepot, and the metal looking coating has peeled off mostly and looks terrible and was disgusted to wash lettuce or food in a sink full of water. This fits perfectly in my insinkerator slot, and works great, and doesn't look or feel like a painted finish that would peel. I am very happy with this purchase! UPDATE: I've been using this piece for about 5 months now, and it still looks great and works great and I'm still so happy to have it! Only small thing is that every so often you have to screw it tighter as it loosens over time, but that's minor.

This is a well made and smartly designed product that works very well. Certainly better than the original stopper. It looks like it will last a long time.

Fits well and holds water in properly.
