Good value, quick ship, well made. I fished with a MLF pro that had old worn out pair of long nosed plyers. Bought these as a gift for him because he needed them. Longer nose helps to remove hook deep in throat of a bass so it can be released to live and fight again. We don't eat our toys, and let them live so another kid can catch 'em.

These are almost perfect - the versatility of they provide in a single tool is awesome. Not needing multiple tools in my tackle bag is nice. They can crimp a clam shot weight with the little notches perfectly. The tips are long and narrow to help with little hooks and swallowed hooks. The cutter works fine to cut braided line, but you have to get the line in the right spot as there isn't a backstop for it - that is really my only complaint and what is holding this back from being perfect.Obviously the value is there - so don't hesitate to grab these if that doesn't bother you!

I bought these back in 2020. I’m here for a pair to put in my kids tackle bag and get mine back. I’m looking at 20-30 dollar pliers and said heck with that, these are fine. I ran through a few different ones because my kid was constantly reeling in sunnies that would swallow the hook. These finally had the perfect reach and grip needed to get into the smaller mouths. They cut line well, though braided is tough. They also crush split shot with ease. In 4 years of freshwater there’s minuscule surface rust on the springs. The case is great too. It slips in the pocket of the fishing bag or back pocket and holds.

However they were not as thick or robust as I was expecting. They are not flimsy. So, time will tell how well they work over time. They are long and thin which may help in removing the hook in the long run.

Bought these for beach fishing with 30g slug lures to remove treble hooks. They are really light and felt like they wouldn't give a strong grip but they surprised me I was able to get all hooks out pretty easily and I always struggle. I used them for mostly Taylor smallest was about 33cm biggest over 40cm. I like how light and small they are and were very convenient hanging off the fishing belt. I was very surprised with the cutting tool I use 30lb braid and it cut though effortlessly. The handle is a little small so i wouldn't reccomend for big hands. I wouldn't describe this as heavy duty but they did the job for me. I've only used for one 2 week beach camping fishing trip and so far no rust but next year will find tell how dureable they are.
