Recently bought a '95 Chevy K1500 pickup. Rear tailight covers were cloudy with age, and in my opinion made it hard to see brake lights on bright sunny days. Theses looked like a good, economical replacement while improving and retaining the stock look of the truck. Perfect fit. Had both sides swapped out in about 15 minutes using only a Phillips head screw driver and a small metric socket (Maybe a 6mm, not sure, the sociket didn't show size). Comparison photo shows the difference, new on left, old on right. New covers were an exact fit. These allow significantly more light to pass, and can easily be seen in on a bright sunny day.

I bought these for my 89 C1500, mine were faded and tabs broke off as I was trying to rework a prior owners wiring "fix". Installation was a breeze, perfect fit, no issues with installation. I will say the rubber seal was a bit loose, but a little adhesive fixed that issue. High quality feel, just like the stock ones I replaced, and the finish is really nice and glossy. I've just installed these, so I have no idea as to how they will wear, but for the price, if they fade or become cloudy, I will probably just replace them with the same brand. Clean stock look.

Clean assembly and molding, solid gap-less "gluing", and good surround gasket too. They look competent and they fit fine. Nothing extra like circuit boards; just two lens assemblies in serious packaging. They are more a dark dark red than "smoke" and other than the color they seem to be made identically to the factory ones. The darkness doesn't dim the original much at all. They don't look junior-high-school-cheesy like a lot of the replacement upgrade lenses do.

So these lights look great, and I think I’ll be happy with them. That being said: it’s quite misleading that the listing claims “DOT approved” and stated nothing about having no warranty regarding federal or state laws, etc yet the box has a clear disclaimer stuck to the outside. I understand that the manufacturer has to do this to save their butt, but: it would’ve been nice to see the disclaimer PRIOR to purchasing. Check your local and state laws!

Nice fitment, no issues with moisture leak in my experience. Been on the truck for two years now with no complaints.

Foam fitting around housing is a little off, otherwise, fit perfectly, looks great, is plug and play nothing fancy. Terrific upgrade to my 21 year old 99 Tahoe 2 Door 4x4
