Fans work awesome. The power cables are about 1/2" longer than the OEM and so you have to flip/twist them in order for them to fit under the heat shroud. The fans themselves are super quiet and great replacement for the OEM fans on the card. Great cost savings vs spending $200+ on a new GPU.

The main thing that's different is the wires on these are longer, which gives you more leeway to work with but also means you have to figure out how to tuck or otherwise move them out of the way of the fans. These worked perfectly to replace the fans on my 970 after it started making grinding noises, and with replacement cards going for what they are I was really hoping they'd fix it- and they did! Note: You should definitely have a set of small screwdrivers to open up the card casing and remove the fans.

This is the easiest solution for replacing fans on - you guessed it - a Zotac 970. Pro tip, if you to fix it while you wait, you might have luck if you pry the fan housing off the spindle, shoot a cleaning chemical into the spinny bits such as brake cleaner, carb cleaner, electrical contact cleaner, or mass air flow sensor cleaner, then relube with grease and reassemble. In my experience that's never a permanent fix, but the good news is that these fans are an exact fit with the exception of looping and tucking the excessively long wires. The only other alternative to these fans is to grab yourself dual 92mm fans with a fan splitter and zip tie the contraption to the heatsink and forgo the shroud. But by the time you buy the fans and the power splitter, they cost more than these replacements. In 2021 with GPU shortages, it's important to hold on to what we have. GTX 970 gaming in 2021 is back, baby!

Fans on the Zotac 970 fail frequently. This fan works, fits well, and not too noisy. Price is fair, could order them from China for cheaper but who want's to deal with that. Thanks for the fast fix.

I used one of the fans to replace a failing fan I had in my GTX 970. It worked perfectly fine the first day, but the bearings on the replaced fan began grinding and causing noise the very next day. Haven't tried replacing that fan with the 2nd one in the package yet - hopefully it's just a defective fan that I got. Update: The second fan began grinding after about a week and a half, these are very poor quality.

I had to return due to the plug being the wrong connection. The picture was difficult to see what the connector looked like. The plugs are 4 pin male sockets.

I bought these to replace a bad fan on my Zotac GTX 970. I replaced the one fan that was bad this replacement started rattling something awful after being installed for only a few weeks with light PC use. During replacement, it was obvious that the replacement fan leaked oil/grease and spattered it on the card. I replaced it with the second card in the pack and after only a few more weeks the second fan started a low wine. Now I'm looking for a new OEM replacement, because these aftermarket fans are clearly inferior.

Perfect fants for the Zotac 970 GPU fit like a glove and saved me having to get a new card!! And there are two in the box!! (Title and quantity hint it's one, but a single order gets two fans!) Cable for fan was a tad long but was able to still fit inside the fan housing

Gesucht war ein neuer Grafikkartenlüfter für eine ältere Zotac GTX 970 Dual Fan Grafikkarte. Die 2 gekauften Lüfter sind nun seit einigen Jahren in Betrieb. Laufen stabil und leise. Keine Klaggeräusche oder sonstiges. Bei höher GPU-Auslastung und Arbeit der Grafikkarte leichtes Lüftergeräusch hörbar, was angenehm klingt. Gern wieder.

In questo periodo di crisi queste ventoline sono state la mia salvezza, Grazie a loro sono riuscito a ripristinare la mia cara 970 che credevo morta e sepolta. Le ventole si presentano bene:sono di un bel colore fumè trasparente e visivamente più gradevoli delle originali Arrivano sigillate singolarmente ed in una sobria scatolina di cartone che le preserva da urti accidentali. Il montaggio non è molto complesso , se si ha già esperienza nell' assemblaggio di un PC la sostituzione di questo componente occupa più o meno 20 minuti. A un mese dalla acquisto continuano a lavorare bene mantenendo buone temperature e rimanendo più silenziose delle originali.
