will it break easily?

Its sturdy to a extent...lve had mine for a while now and l use it every chance l get (for church) and its handled very well. I like the cloth case so its some what protected. I do have one sling that has just happened to come out on the bottom but lt easily goes back in. You get what you pay for as well. It smaller than it looks but l would buy again in a heartbeat. Does fan snap open quickly?

It's made of silk---- no snapping. You do have to take you time to golf it back neatly. However, I love the fan uses it all the time. Wish it was a little bigger. Thumbs up on this one.
