The green at the charger connection ISD router to the negative side of the batteries. The white is routed to the positive side.

Yes. However please make sure your lawn mower is model CM1936 or SPCM1936 or CM1836. This charger is most certainly the correct one for those models.

What does it mean when the red light flashes on and off?

I have never experienced or heard of this situation. Are you sure that the charger is plugged securely into a power outlet, and that the other end is plugged securely into the mower? Does it still charge the mower battery, in the sense that the light eventually turns green (indicating fully charged)? If everything is snug, and the light never turns green, I suspect your charger has failed.

I just received my charger and it doesn't fit into the green and white connector on my mower. Your connection end is the same as our connection end.

Make sure the connection port on your mower does not have plastic pieces broken off from the old charger stuck in it. This is a common issue. Also make sure the mower port is not deformed due to heat. Included in your package is a troubleshooting guide that addresses common issues like this (which are not the fault of the charger).
