The Best Prenatal Gummies for Expecting Moms!
I absolutely love SmartyPants Prenatal Vitamins! As an expecting mom, I wanted a prenatal vitamin that was not only packed with essential nutrients but also easy and enjoyable to take—and these gummies tick all the boxes. First of all, the taste is fantastic! Unlike other vitamins that can be hard to swallow or have a strange aftertaste, these gummies have a pleasant flavor that I actually look forward to every day. It’s a great way to ensure I’m getting the nutrients I need without feeling like it’s a chore. These gummies are loaded with everything I was looking for in a prenatal vitamin: Omega 3 fish oil (EPA/DHA), biotin, methylfolate, and vitamins D3, C, B12, B6, A, K, and zinc. I love knowing that I’m getting all these important nutrients in one delicious gummy, and the fact that they use high-quality, easily absorbable forms like methylfolate and B12 is a huge plus. Another thing I appreciate is that these vitamins are free from artificial flavors, sweeteners, and preservatives. They’re also non-GMO and allergen-friendly, which gives me peace of mind about what I’m putting into my body during pregnancy. The 120-count bottle is perfect for a 30-day supply, and the packaging is sturdy and easy to open. I’ve noticed a positive difference in my energy levels and overall well-being since starting these gummies, and I’m confident that they’re supporting both my health and my baby’s development. Overall, I highly recommend SmartyPants Prenatal Vitamins to any expecting mom. They make it easy to stay on top of your prenatal nutrition, and they taste great too! Definitely a must-have in your daily routine.

safe for MTHFR, free of all the bad stuff, correct forms of B12 and folate and K, plus omega 3, not just for pregnancy
So, I am not pregnant, and neither are my two school aged daughters, but I buy this multivitamin. I give my kids a half dose of these. Here are the reasons I like this multi: 1.) K2 is the type of K that is needed to properly use D3 and calcium, hard to find a multi with this best form of K 2.) Methylfolate is the bioavailable form of folate, upwards of half of the population has a genetic anomaly that keeps them from turning the manmade form called folic acid into the usable form of methylfolate. Inability to properly use folate can lead to a huge list of health issues. 3.) MethylB12 is the is the bioavailable form of B12, upwards of half of the population has a genetic anomaly that keeps them from turning the manmade form called cyanocobalamin into the usable form of methylcobalamin. Inability to properly use B12 can lead to a huge list of health issues. (if you are reading this and have never heard of MTHFR please google it now and read up on it) 4.) NO chromium. Chromium is a toxin, studies on chromium were done in rats which do not always translate into humans. It is theorized now that the way that chromium works in balancing blood sugar is most likely a reaction of the body to the toxin, the body uses energy (glucose) to deal with detoxing the chromium and the use of energy is what brings blood sugars into balance. 5.) NO manganese. Manganese is a toxin and there is no real proof that manganese is a necessary micronutrient for the human body. 6.) All natural colors and flavors etc. 7.) NO iron. Iron is necessary and it is estimated that iron deficiency is actually quite high among the population. However, iron blocks the absorption of so many micronutrients that it needs to be taken separately of many micronutrients. 8.) NO calcium. Yes, calcium is necessary, but like iron, calcium blocks the absorption of so many micronutrients that it needs to be taken separately of many micronutrients. 9.) Omega 3. Just handy to have it all in one place. 10.) Stearate free. Here is my only problem with my using this as a multi for my kids, I feel the B12 is too low. Here is my problem with this as a multi and why I cannot take ANY of the SmartyPants products. I have Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroiditis and though it may sound counterintuitive I have found out the hard way after three attempts at taking different multi's with iodine in them that iodine causes my TSH and TPOab numbers to go up and it gives me a goiter. Humans really need only a small mount of iodine and it is easy to get enough iodine from food. The USDA recommends an iodine intake of 150mcg daily, 3oz of shrimp has 35mcg, a cup of milk has 56mcg, 3oz of cod has a whopping 99mcg! Even one egg has 12mcg of iodine. To take 150mcg of idone in a multi is just excessive for anyone. Here are my wishes (I hope SmartyPants reads this!): 1.) I wish that Smartypants would reformulate all of their products so that ALL of them have methylfolate. Right now ONLY the prenatal has methylfolate, all of SmartyPants' other products have folic acid. People with the MTHFR genetic mutation should not take folic acid. 2.) I wish that SmartyPants would reformulate to be iodine free or at least offer one iodine free version.

Great for both of my pregnancies!
Mom of 2 : Always great. If you have a hard time getting vitamins down or forgetting to take them at all, this is my recommendation. They recently came out with a sugar free version too but I have yet to try those. I've used these for both of my pregnancies and and when I go to get blood drawn, my vitamin levels are always good (had some iron, magnesium and vitamin D issues but I don't think that's the vitamins fault. Just had to take extra of those.) Super yummy and with the serving size being 4 gummies, it just feels like candy. Which is great cause I'm a sugar addict and that's what gets me to remember to take them. They are pricy and probably not the *absolute highest* quality vitamins on the market but they are a good basic methylated vitamin that gets the job done while tasting like a sweet treat. So for me, it's worth it. I recommend these wherever I go.

Haven’t taken long enough for concrete opinion, but so far so good
I have Celiac Disease and the MTHFR mutation (double) and have been struggling to find prenatals with Methylated Folate that don’t make me sick, don’t entirely destroy my appetite, and don’t work against other medications I have to take. My two cents: •Smell: They’re definitely fruity and can be a little overwhelming if you have a sensitive sense of smell—I do. But they’re not terrible. Not as strong as the Flinstone’s gummies. •Taste/texture: I had read in reviews that it was chalky and hard to swallow and had a pungent taste—I’m not sure if that’s a different form or if they have changed their formulas since, but I received gummies with a decently pleasant taste. I’m not desperately waiting until the next day to be able to eat more, but they’re good enough. They have a slightly citric-fruity flavor that isn’t terrible and they go down pretty easily. My Issues: •I really only have one and it’s that I am EXHAUSTED after taking these. I have been taking them for about two weeks and have undergone some of the most intense, overwhelming exhaustion of my life. My personal life has been a bit emotional and mentally taxing and I am autistic, so it could just be coincidence and my stress levels rising, but I decided to take them overnight last night (after struggling to wake up every morning and struggling to remain awake on the drive to work—when I’m usually awake 20-30 minutes before my alarm and running around like crazy) to see how I would be this morning. I woke up a lot easier and was able to remain focused. I was able to actually complete my morning routine without struggling. The drive to work was still a little spacey, so I’m going to take them when I get home from work instead of right before bed. It should be noted, this isn’t an uncommon side effect after a lack of folate in the system. It can be a shock to your body, which I expected. I don’t have any comments regarding effects on skin, hair, nails, digestion, or anything else yet as it’s only been about two weeks.

I like them and they don’t add to my nausea
I was searching for a prenatal that had everything I wanted and it was extremely hard to find one, this one came the closest. I wanted a prenatal with real folate rather then folic acid and that was gluten free and didn’t have all the unnecessary crap and fillers you find in most others. Also I was looking for one that had 150 mcg of iodine or less as per my endocrinologist for my thyroid. I also wanted one that didn’t have too much vitamin A and contained epa and dha. This one DOES NOT contain calcium or iron, BUT you can get an iron supplement for $7 (which is what I did) which will last you six months. As for the calcium, you can add that too, but if you are getting enough in daily through your diet it’s ok to not have it. Don’t listen to negative reviews stating it’s missing key nutrients...it’s not. If you feel you are missing something or need more, add an extra supplement. If all prenatals were made the same it would be easier, but it’s not a one size fits all. They try to put in the best. Sure you can get a prescription of prenatals from your doctors, but do you know what extra un-needed ingredients are in them? Anyway, I personally think they are very good. I started taking them before I was pregnant and they literally taste like candy and they go down easily. Now that I’m 9 weeks in and at the height of my nausea, they are a bit sweet tasting to me, but they stay down! Do yourself a favor, if you’re considering these, put them on your top three of prenatals and make the decision that works best for you! :)

Great Flavor & Go-to Prenatal!
I did A LOT of research and comparing of products before purchasing these for the first time. I have been using these since I found out I was pregnant at around 6 weeks. I am now 30 weeks, and can attest to how amazing these vitamins are. I wanted a gummy vitamin at first because I was so nauseous and swallowing pills was too difficult. I was hesitant about the taste when ordering these since I saw other reviews say they are too sour. However, I actually enjoy the taste. They taste like a slightly less sweet version of fruit gushers (without the juice inside). The taste for me was just right and did not make my morning sickness worse. I was able to keep these down and didn’t dread taking them. When looking for prenatals, I also did not want anything with a bunch of artificial dyes and ingredients. This doesn’t have any, but does have a high sugar content (6g) that I think is worth the trade off to having a better taste. I will say these are on the pricier side of vitamins, but all vitamins tend to be expensive. It is annoying that I have to rebuy these each month, but you can always use the subscribe and save to save a little bit. Additionally, the SMELL IS BAD. Think plastic + fish. Do NOT stick your nose into the container to smell it, you’ll regret it. Overall, I do enjoy using these vitamins and will continue to do so for the remainder of my pregnancy.

Hands down best prenatals
These are hands down the best parental vitamin out there. The taste is unmatched and as a nurse for almost 20 years it gave me great piece of mind that I was getting the nutrients I needed pregnant. I also suffered from terrible nausea all throughout my pregnancies and was always able to take them even when nauseous!

Overly sweet
I decided to buy those prenatal vitamins few months ago after doing research on all available prenatal vitamins. What I liked about those vitamins was that they didn’t have any unhealthy fillers the other prenatal vitamins had and they were in form of gummies so they were a good option for people who have problems swallowing the pills. I cut two stars as unfortunately they have too much sugar (6g of sugar and 9g of carbs) which feels like eating a tablespoon of sugar each day. I don’t think it is healthy to eat so much sugar while being pregnant. Prenatal vitamins suppose to be healthy but too high content of sugar was probably added as they have a fish oil so the company wanted to mask the taste of it. I had a hard time eating 4 gummies a day because they were so sweet they made me nauseous. I did more research and was able to purchase the other prenatal vitamins from the same company which only have 3g of sugar and don’t taste too sweet. The only drawback is they do not have a fish oil but it can be purchased separately. If you do not like overly sweet things and do not want to have high sugar content in your diet I do not recommend them.

Not Halal
I ordered thinking that this doesn't contain gelatin. However, there are two variants. One is a vegetarian one which does not contain any gelatin. So to my fellow Muslim women, be careful while you order. To The Smarty pants company: Please make halal gummies.
