Great for my pup's sensitive tummy
This food is wonderful but beware it might be shelf pulls as every single can I received (24) had damage - the product inside was not affected thankfully. I have a Chinese Crested Hairless Chihuahua mix who began suffering with bouts of pancreatitis several years ago. After many flare-ups trying different foods over the course of a year, the vet suggested Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach specifically. It is a good source of protein with low fat which is crucial for a dog with this condition. It is the only food his tummy will tolerate and he's gone from the 3 to 4 flare ups that first year to just 1 flare-up in the past two years. He gets zero table scraps, home made treats occasionally, a daily probiotic and Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Salmon wet food (his tummy will not process the dry) and he's doing absolutely great!!

No more vomit comet!!!
My dog is a 12lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix with a sensitive stomach and tendency to turn in to a vomit comet if not on a strict diet. When we moved in with my parents after a nasty divorce (who have a Bassett and a Shorkie), Tangoโs dinner schedule cake with the introduction of wet food. He has not had wet food in his regular diet before. At the time, my mom was using Alpo wet food for her pups. Tango started to get sick more frequently. At first I thought it was the abundance of treats, but once we started restricting his diet, it was clear that the wet food was the problem as his dry food is a specialty salmon and rice formula that heโs been on for awhile with no issues. So we replaced the Alpo with this wet food. Such a difference in his digestion! No more frequent episodes of puking. No more uncomfortable tummy aches. Weโve even been able to reintroduce treats back in to his diet. We also switched my momโs dogs to the same wet food. My momโs Shorkie has severe allergies and weโve noticed some of her skin issues clearing up after switching her wet food. Itโs a little more pricey- on average $1.80 per can- but itโs worth the price if your pet has a sensitive tummy.

Dogs love it, low fat at 5%, and high protein.
I have a great dane that anytime she gets too much fat in her diet she goes right into pancreatitis. She gets unlimited food 24/7, but just a grazer, not a big eater. She started losing too much weight with the low fat food. She was down to 85lbs for a dog that is supposed to be over 100lbs. Another issue is, she's 11 years old, and that is GREAT for a dane. So I kept her on the low fat food and figured the only way to get weight on her is with protein. I supplemented her diet with this canned food at 5% fat which her prescription diet food is the same percentage. But it had much higher content of protein than her prescription diet. IT WORKED!! She loves it. She looks better than she has in months. Energy level up higher than in months too, and anyone that knows Danes, knows their couch potatoes, she was back to running in the backyard yesterday. I couldn't be happier. Only problem I had is the new batch of cans I just got had dents in the whole one side, I will be dealing with Amazon about that.

Not the best scent but works for dog with allergies
When opening a new can it doesnโt smell great but after itโs in the fridge it doesnโt smell that bad. My dog has allergies which is why we use this and it really helped him. The few complaints I have is it isnโt as dense as other foods and itโs impossible to find nowadays! My dog has never turned it away.

Good but includes small fragments of bones
It was recommended by our vet to switch from Purina Pro plan Savor dry and wet food over to Purina Pro Plan Focus Sensitive Skin. Dog appears to enjoy the food, but I did notice after the wet food sat out for a while (hour or two), hard white specks were visible in the food. This appeared to be bone fragments. I reached out to purina and the confirmed bones are included in the making of this wet food, which was pretty disappointing to hear. They stated: "As for you inquiry to the presence of bone in our product we would like to let you know Fish and poultry are ground in their natural state, including the bones. They are then pulverized to ensure that no large pieces of bone pass through the production process.". Although they are grounded and "pulverized", they are still visible in the wet food. Hopefully one day they can find a way to exclude bones from the wet food.

The grossest wet dog food...and yet it works wonders.
I will be blunt and say this is the most unappetizing dog food I have ever seen. It smells bad, itโs gross to get out of the can, and you wonder what dog in their right mind would ever eat this!? And yet...my dog loved it and he was a picky eater. And it helped with an assortment of digestive issues, particularly diarrhea. We have since moved on to a different product to save money now that things have calmed down stomach-wise, but keep a few cans on stand-by just in case. If your dogโs digestive system seems out of whack, mix this with some of his kibble. Your dogโs stomach will thank you for it.

Made my dog sick EVERY time I tried feeding it
This food made my dog throw up. I was very aware of the need to slowly transition from one food to another. I fed my dog only 1/2 can initially, mixed with his normal food and within a few hours he began to vomit uncontrollably. I waited several days before trying again, same result. I purchased the food as a combination of wet (cans) and dry, so next time I fed him only the dry version. I fed him 1/4 of his usual budget of grams (we weigh all his food) and within a few hours the dry food caused him to vomit uncontrollably as well. Ironically his normal food is salmon based as well, so there's something else in it that he can't tolerate. But needless to say, when a food for sensitive stomachs causes your dog to vomit after every feeding attempt no matter how small the portion then something is very wrong. I ended up tossing the food in the garbage, wet and dry alike. Complete waste of money.

Good quality food
Good quality dog food that my dog loves. She is older and requires a food each to swallow and with extra moisture. This works like magic.
