Boots
I purchased these boots during Prime Days in November, wanted lightweight uninsulated boots for spring and early fall. I used the boots recently this spring. The boots worked great: light, good traction, comfortable, water resistant. After little break-in, I was able to easily tighten the laces to increase stability. Only downside was pressure at top of the right boot on my calf; this may go away with continued break-in. Boots are good value.

Great Value!
Great boots!! I wear them for upland game hunting (quail & chukar). They are comfortable from the start and require no break-in period. They give great ankle support without sacrificing flexibility. They're light weight yet sturdy. They offer ideal traction. After a season of scrambling over rocks, through creeks, and breaking brush, they still look new. The size was true to fit. I highly recommend!!

Quality/longevity is just ok. Otherwise, great boot.
Great boot for the price. I bought them last year and wore them probably 20 times for various tasks and hikes. They’re very comfortable, definitely waterproof, they keep your feet warm in the winter, and they look pretty good too. They also have great ankle support and fantastic grip. My only problem is that after about 6 months of occasionally wearing them, the rubber soles started to come away from the material around the sides of the front of the foot area. It won’t be long before they’re no longer waterproof and completely useless. But they were only 60 something dollars, so I’m not complaining too much.

Great value for a good boot
I got these and wore them on a Montana hunting trip. Very comfortable and great traction. i went up banks through shallow creeks and in rocks and mud and through mountains using them 6 or 7 miles per day. No issues with them at all. It wasn't super cold but at the 20 to 40 F we had my feet never got cold with wool socks. I don't know how well they will hold up with daily use but they worked for what I needed. I'd recommend them.

Good so far
I cant say they last a long time. But ive put probably 40 miles on these boots so far and I actually love them. I dont think I could have found a better boot for the price. Comfortable and great. Used them for shed hunting in steep utah mountains. Also plan to use them for my upcoming turkey hunt. The color wasnt quite what I expected, size was right, and i cant speak to if they are waterproof. We had a pretty dry winter. My feet stayed dry in the small amount of snow I did walk thru.

Comfortable, warm, waterproof
Very lightweight and in a good way. Comfortable right out of the box. This was an emergency purchase 1 week before a Colorado elk hunt since my regular boots got damaged. I was worried that with no break in period I would end up with blisters and sore feet but that didn't happen. Hiked several miles over rough and muddy ground to our hunt spot and my feet were warm and dry. Got elk and it took several trips over 2 days to pack it all out, feet were never a problem. Walked through and stood in streams and stayed dry. Soles are a good combo of firm and flex and seemed to shed the mud whenever I hit dry land. Very impressed so far, can't say how long they'll last but they cleaned up well after the hunt and look like new again.

Expected yet unexpected
I bought this pair to replace a previous pair of the same brand (Cordura model) I purchased almost a year ago. I use these boots as my work boots and seeing as I work in a refrigerated environment (40°F avg.) I thought I would give the insulated model a try. As expected, fit was exactly the same and it should be as previous pair/model are made on the exact same footbed and overall shoe design, just different upper materials. Now, we get down to the nittt gritty...dry traction is not quite the same as the previous pair but pretty darn close. Compared to the previous pair, wet traction on the other hand (the non-slip advertisemnt) is non existent; it's as though the formula for the sole rubber has changed. Wether it has or not, I can not say for sure as I have not asked the manufacturer about it. By comparison to the previous pair, it's a night and day difference, I don't feel the grip and stability under foot when walking on the wet concrete (something I often have to do at work) and metal dock plates as the previous pair which seemed to grip with great tenacity in all the conditions I face at work daily. As I mentiined earlier, my work environment is refrigerated and my toes would get quite cold at times, hence why I opted for this "insulated" pair as my repacement. The manufacturer advertises that the insulation is effective at keeping one's feet warm down to -13°F...well, suffice it to say, these do not live up to that claim by a long shot, my toes are just as cold in this pair as they were in the previous pair. Am I going to return this pair....not just yet. They are comfortable and do seem to be quite water repellent (upper material) and not enough of an issue in the work environment at this time that I feel it's pertinent to do so. I just have to walk with more care than I normaly would when the floors are wet. In all honesty though, I am still debating on sending them back because I don't want to risk a "slip and fall" injury that could cost me in the long run. I have barely had them a week and only worn them to work 4 days. I'll give them till the end of the week and see if the "wet grip" changes any at all (maybe the sole needs to "break in"). My only other beef with the shoes (this is referring to the other pair and pretty much every other shoe brand out there)...why is the heel counter material so weak and thin? This area of just about every shoe on the market is the first spot to deteriorate in a shoe and it makes shoes uncomfortable and a pain to take off without one's heel catching on the material preventing the shoe coming off when wanted. A wedge shaped piece of high abrasion resistant material like Cordura for instance in this location would do wonders for the durability of the shoe. Is this instance enough of a deterrent to go back to this manufacturer again for another pair of shoes...I think not. This could just be a fluke, a one off instance but if any of the other styles offered by this manufacturer are like my first pair and offer up the same kind of traction as that pair had, i will definitely look to them for my next pair of hiking shoes/ boots.

Nice boots!
So far I am very pleased with these boots! Having never heard of this brand before I decided to give them a chance based off of reviews and price point. I’m planning on using these as an early season boot for elk and whitetail hunting. I wear a size 7 but since XPETI doesn’t list a 7.5 I went with a size 8. I like to wear a very thin sock liner and a medium weight alpaca wool sock by Hollow socks, particularly when I’m hiking a lot. These boots seem like they’ll be good for side hilling and rough terrain hiking because of the stiffness of the ankle but time and use will tell as they soften up and get broken in. Regardless, I always like to bring two pair of boots with the spare remaining behind in a gear bag in my truck. I’ll update my review as I get more mileage on them. Edit: Alrighty! I’ve got ten miles rucking in these boots. 40lb sandbag on an Eberlestock F1 Mainframe. I swapped out insoles for a pair of Superfeet “hike, cushion” insoles. The boots show minimal sole wear so far. I can’t attest to waterproofness as I avoid getting my footwear wet as much as possible. Cushioning: excellent. Ankle support: excellent. Laces: lock securely. So far nothing but good to say about these boots except for one little thing. The left boot toe crease (flex point) is right on top of my little toe. This has caused a nasty blister on two separate rucks. I’ve varied my socks and sock liners but that crease just sucks. So, instead of blaming the boot I solved the problem and invested in a roll of Alpine Armor blister tape. WAY better than traditional moleskin! I wrapped my toe in the tape, wore an Injinji sock liner and a medium Point Six hiking sock and away I went. I felt a slight pinch on my toe but nothing like had occurred before. I rucked 3.25 miles. Got home pull off the boots and socks fully expecting another blister. Nope. Nothing. Not even a raw spot. I’m looking forward to using these as my primary boots for my elk hunt in the high country this September. I don’t think that one could go wrong with these at all, especially for the price point.

Awesome boots!
I was a little nervous ordering a pair of boots a 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. But I trusted their recommendation and the boots fit perfectly! Extremely happy.

Nicht wasserdicht
Gutes Fußbett. Bei Kälte naja. Und ich bin keine Frostbeule. Aber nicht wasserdicht. An den Zehen war es nass. Für diesen Preis ein No go. Keine Kaufempfehlung.

Excelente calidad
El producto esta increíble, la calidad es superior, tristemente no fueron el número correcto, solo hay que pedir medio número más grande, pero las botas están geniales.
