Vintage Sturdy Metal Bed Frame Queen Size with Vintage Headboard and Footboard Platform Base Bed Frame No Box Spring Needed Steel Bed (Antique Brown,Queen)

I have to say, the manufacturer did a really good job of packing this and the engineering the parts and the sequence of construction to make the assembly as simple as possible. I had no damage to any of the pieces. The final frame looks really nice and seems sturdy. I haven't tested it yet to see if it squeaks, but it does come with a soft strip which should prevent the main parts of the base from rubbing together. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

UPDATE: it’s sturdy, no squeaking. CONS: The little thingies that are supposed to keep the mattress from sliding to absolutely nothing. I have to realign my mattress constantly. It needs to be about 2 inches longer. The mattress fits on it fine but there is no room at the top or the bottom to manipulate it to get sheets put on or tuck in a comforter, there is no extra room in the length of this thing at all. I find this much harder to make than any other boxspring/mattress bed I’ve ever had. Very frustrating and I will likely sell it before too long and find something that actually fits a queen size mattress with a little give. Let me set the stage by saying I have the mechanical ability of a hubcap and my vision of hell is endlessly assembling furniture with an Allen wrench. With that said, I was able to assemble this bed by myself in about an hour and a half. I’ll update my review for sturdiness after I’ve slept on it a few nights.

Overall, this is a nice bed frame. I was able to put it together by myself. Everything was nicely labeled. Tip when putting it together- don’t fully tighten any of the screws until the end. I was tightening them fully as I went, but found it kept getting crooked and parts wouldn’t fit. Only concern with this frame is that the mattress will pretty easily slide off. The frame has prices on the corners that are supposed to stop it from sliding, but they don’t work (on mine at least). I’m not sure if it’s the design of the frame that makes our mattress lift up a little on the ends so that it can slide right over the stopper or if our mattress just isn’t straight, but it would slide right off if you push it. And since it’s metal, it’s slippery. Otherwise it looks very nice and seems well built!

I didn't think I would get this frame as it spent two weeks in California and then disappeared from tracking. In fact, I got the option to request a refund but I decided to wait a day. The next day it showed up on my doorstep. Hooray! Everything that I needed was included, nothing was chipped or bent. Everything comes labeled in plastic bags so before you start taking everything out of those bags just set them aside because you'll need to know the numbers and letters on them. I didn't have too much of an issue putting this together but I can see how people with less patience might get frustrated. Luckily for me I do put together things for work sometimes. I think it took me about an hour and a half with a break thrown in there. Some parts will not go together the way that they should if you tighten in one screw before putting the others in. Just put them in one at a time and then tighten. Once I had it all put together it looked pretty nice but I was afraid my queen wasn't going to fit on it. It did. And after putting the sheets and comforter on the bed it does look very nice. I am not going to jump up and down on it to test anything but it is quiet so far. I assume that with wear and tear that will not be so but I am not picky because I am deaf LOL. I picked this bed frame because I liked the scroll work and it is metal. So I am pleased overall. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a frame so this fit my budget very well. There is plenty of space under the bed but I am sure my cats will claim it.

Our bed is even more beautiful than in the picture (and it looks lovely in the photo), and true to its description, very strong and sturdy. One of the reviews mentioned squeaking, so I was a little worried...for nothing! No squeaking, no creaking, and the mattress stays firmly in place. As for "Easy to Assemble": We paid to have our bed assembled, and Vlad, the young man that Amazon sent, was a gentleman: polite, and a true professional. He arrived on time, introduced himself, and asked us if we had any questions. Then, he worked quickly and efficiently; we still can't believe how easy he made it all look, and, to boot, he cleaned up after himself. All in all, we are very happy with our bed, and definitely recommend this bed and the Assembly service. Thank you so much!

This bed is exactly what I was looking for, as far as aesthetics. Instructions were easy to follow. I put it together myself in a couple hours. Would have been easier to have a second pair of hands, but it was still fairly easy. I am using a 9 inch memory foam mattress. It does slide on the base, but I will be putting down some plywood to not only prevent it from slipping, but for some added support. I really think the only thing I would change about it is reducing the floor to frame height and/or adding a couple inches to the height of the headboard and foot board. As is, when I tried it with my box spring the mattress was a couple inches higher than the foot board and the overall mattress height was to my hips. Just a bit too tall. Overall, I really do like this bed and would recommend it. Eta: after having this bed for a bit now, it does squeak some when moving around; maybe it needs to be tightened? Would still rcommend.

I placed a order on the 13th of January and received it the 16th. Great timing. I paid 184.00 with tax. It's the exact color ordered. It was okay to assemble. You may need help. I like the fact there were metal and rubber pieces to hold it together. You don't have to use a bunch of screws while laying the bars in the middle of the bed. These rubber like pieces snapped right into the holes and the bars slide right in that was the best part. There was also a rubber piece that sticks onto the middle bar of the bed to keep the metal from bumping. I will update later. Update Nov 2023 The bed started to loosen, bars wouldn't stay in the slots. Screws start to pop out. I guess it's great for temporary ONLY.

I did a lot of homework before buying a bed and bed frame, and this was more disappointing than expected. It honestly probably deserves 2 stars, but the price was great so that should be a factor.. I’ll preface this with saying that I am using a firm 12” memory foam mattress on this and that I purchased the warranty. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. 1- This arrived MUCH later than I had hoped. It took longer than the expected delivery window (an extra week or two). 2- As some others have wrote, it is somewhat tricky to figure out how to put it together... not rocket science, but there was some head scratching at points. 3- The pieces that are supposed to keep the bed from sliding side to side are not long enough to actually hold the mattress where it is supposed to be, so the bed slides from side to side super easily, drives me nuts. 4- I saw the term used somewhere else and loved it, so I’m going to stick with the term “romping”. NO good for romping! The bed makes so much noise!! It’s fine if you’re just going to sleep in it, but it doesn’t even take strenuous romping for this thing to make noise. I’m hopeful that I can fix that somehow but I’m not exactly sure what is making noise. 5- All in all, it looks nice, with some minor scratches that I only noticed when I took it out of the box and haven’t noticed it since. It feels very sturdy. Hope this was helpful!

This is a beautiful looking bed frame. It went together in about 2 hours. Very sturdy so far. No squeaks and no jiggles. Don't take all the pieces out of the plastic until needed. Instructions are on the inside of the box it comes in. Make sure you put it together in the sequence they suggest and you won't have any trouble! I absolutely LOVE this. I paired it with new end tables, new lamps and new quilt. I now love my bedroom. VERY reasonable. Frame, mattress, end tables and lamps were about 700 with taxes...I couldn't even get a decent mattress anywhere here in town (Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada) for that let alone the complete bedroom! Highly recommend the frame.....thumbs up!!

I'd been eyeing this model for months, and jumped on it when a seller popped up that had it listed for under $200. Solid bed, and classically beautiful to boot. I love that it has metal slats, as it's much more firm and supportive with my mattress than my previous wooden slat bed. Good height too, allows for storage underneath, and comes up to a good height with my side-tables, but not so tall that I'm having to literally climb into bed. Putting it together was straight forward and easy with just a single person. I only wish the foot board was a few inches taller, so I could drape clothes off the end of it.

The bed itself is great! It looks beautiful, it's sturdy, and it's squeak free even with the most vigorous movement on top. That said, the heads of the bolts strip *very* easily. This isn't too much trouble when putting it together as they'll still be tight enough, but make sure you do it right the first time because you're not getting it back apart after.
