Have been VERY pleased with this scope.
For a FFP scope this is well worth the price and more. It holds zero well, no odd malfunctions with turrets. everything feels solid and well built. Have now put about 250 rounds down range with it on and have had no issues. The knob for illumination is still really tight and takes quite a bit of grip to get it to turn and light up the crosshairs..but it is slowly wearing down to being "normal". I do like the way the illumination works and is very nice and crisp with no glare or "frayed" or blurred edges on the reticule when lit up. Also, appears to be made in Texas so I will take a USA made any day,

Better than SEX - (some)...
Being aged & speaking from experience the full spectrum (good & bad). I liked this scope so much that I bought it again, and intend to buy more should the need arise, it comes with everything that is needed including batteries. Fine reticle that allows precise detail throughout all magnifications, now it's easier to do my part (as a shooter). Already exercised the lifetime warranty on my first purchase 1 (ONE) phone call + 3 (THREE) days and the replacement was in my hands, seamless. I never thought that the clarity would rival my higher power scopes (8-32x50 & 10-40x50) that blur at higher magnification and turn into a fish-eye. I have looked through scopes that were multiple times the price of this one and truly do not see a difference that justifies spending over $1000.00 on one, but I could be wrong so don't take my word for it try one for yourself you will be surprised at the quality of this scope for a reasonable price & fast shipping. Safe shooting Steve

First broke but seconds good to go
Haven't used it yet just unboxed and mounted it to a 6.5 creedmoor Savage 10ba stealth and went outside and looked threw. So far seems good like the features like push pull turrets, the reticle is very tiny on 5 but nice and clear, usually don't like illuminated reticles but actually like how they did this one. Glass seems decent will update better on that when I use it, as others have said the mounts iffy but will work until you can get something better. Update, ok finally went to use this and didn't even get to fire my rifle cause the scope broke. Was trying to sight it in at 50 yards at first so went to turn the parallax adjustment to 50 yards to make the glass clear and I couldn't get the glass clear. Upon looking into it further for some reason the parallax adjustment would only go to about 15 yards and would stop. So kept messing with the turret back and forth and finally got it to spin correctly but it doesn't change anything, it's stuck on about ten yards. It's Crystal clear at around 10 yards though, Wich really sucks cause not sure if I should give this another shot and replace it or just get something different. Sucks cause seemed like a good scope. Another update, ended up giving this another shot and returned the broken one so far seems really good. Glass is clear, crisp turrets, holding zero for 200ish rounds, like the reticle. so pretty happy with the second one, other than the mount did Break but contacted Texas precision and they are supposed to be sending another but they said they would tell me when they sent it and that was over a month ago so we'll see, hopefully wanna like them.

A great gift just in time to start getting ready for the next hunting season.
My wife found this scope and bought it for my birthday. It works great! I couldnโt believe the quality of the scope for the price. I would put this scope up against any of my more expensive any time. The eye relief is just enough to get comfortable and be able to view whatโs behind the target before I pull the trigger. Going from 5X to the 25x makes you feel like you are right next to the target with the clarity. I had it out of the box and on my AR Iโm just a couple of minutes. It is a little big for my AR, but it will be a great addition to my bolt action .308.

Better protection needed
I need to start by saying that i had to return this as I was unable to get it zeroed out. That said I feel as if it may have been a result of shippers miss handling it in transit. Aside from the windage being wonky the scope was absolutely amazing. Very reliable in it's ability. But damaged goods nogood, so.

Very clear lens, mounts easy, lit reticle is very bright. Locking turrets rock!
Likes: comes with everything you need--sunshade, rubber protective caps (wish they were flip-ups), battery installed already, one-piece mount. Also, the reticle is better than my Cables Covenant 6-24x50 at close range--Cableas lines are too fine and I want to use this scope for deer and prairie dogs. Mounted on a model 70 .243. Also bought a picatinny rail. Dislike: the one-piece scope mount bolts stripped out when I was just hand-tightening it. However, they did send a new one asap. I decided to purchase an American Defense Recon Standard one-piece mount though--it's pricy but I have it on another gun and love it. Performance so far: I shot about 10 rounds of Winchester 100 grain soft tip bullets and could not hit paper at 100 yards. Did a quick bore sight and then hit paper. Winchesters ammo was a bit lacking but I got about a 4" group before switching to Fusion 95 grain--then I was in the 1/2" to 1" group--wind was sorta all over the place too, around 60F outside, low humidity. So far so good--will test it out one more time mid-November before deer season starts. For the money, you'd have to spend close to, if not over, $1,000. Seems like all these are made in China, no matter what the brand so it must come from a factory making higher end scopes--seems very solid and well-built.

Good try, needs work on turrets
Okay, I put this on a 338 Win Mag to test it out. Good scope, stood up to 15 shots with no issue. but I can't hold a group when moving the elevation turret from 1 MOA (I zeroed at 100 yards) up my range max of 500 yards (5 MOA), and then take a group of shots, then back to 1 MOA, my groups move. This is because the elevation turret is sloppy. they are great for a ~$230 scope, but if you compare to a Vortext Raptor HD or similar, you'll be disappointed. What I refer to: when you turn the elevation turret (or in this case - either elevation or windage turrets), the do have an audible click, but no actual 'holding' power. So you can rotate the turret at least 1/4 MOA without feeling or hearing a click. So... if you rotate the turret, you are not going to be able to to be sure where you are ... with pinpoint accuracy. You will be accurate to about 1/4 MOA when you are moving your elevation turret. This is my experience when shooting close, far, and close again. it's repeatable. Please try this yourself. Bench your rifle so there is no human factor to worry about. It's only because i have a Vortex Raptor HD that I notice this. I think if I didn't have a good quality scope, I'd never have found this issue. The Vortex also has Zero stops... which, once you get used to it, VERY annoying to have to remember rotations. Oh, another point - the Sniper has only 15 MOA in a rotation. I find that 25 MOA in a rotation lends itself to remembering full rotations better but that's probably a personal preference.
