Good vakue but varying quality.
This is a really good value for the money and overall I'm extremely pleased with the quality. The beads are well made and put together and there's a lot of different colors that come in the pack. I do notice that some of them are there in qualities the majority of them are wooden but there's a few that are plasticky and a little smaller in size. This is fine but just be warned that they're not all wood some of them are going to be plastic. But overall this is a tremendous value for the money and a very pleased with the purchase

These are gorgeous and cheap
I bought these for a group of student that I have been holding space to meditate with and I thought I’ll give them some Malay beads- but dang getting 10+ could really add up. These saved the day and they are gorgeous too. I have bought these twice now.

Good and cheap
I'm an addiction counselor. I teach meditation to my clients. I bought these males to give to my clients to help them with mantra meditation. They love the males. It warms my heart to see my clients wear them on their wrists or around their necks. Worth the investment. I'll buy again.

Perfect little gifts
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect for this price but am pleasantly surprised! I ordered two sets to give as gifts to my yoga students. They are beautiful! Taught the students Mala Meditation technique and they were all tickled to have a take away that they can wear/practice with! Fits wrapped on wrist or as a necklace!

As a meditation retreat gift these are perfect.
Definitely not high-quality. But for the price they’re a perfect little meditation retreat gift and teaching tool. The beads will bleed if they get wet. They do break easily. But we’re a perfect fit for the expectations that I had for them! Great and expensive gift for clients!

Most of these beads are useless for spiritual work.
As beads they are OK. As malas for mantra work, NO, keep looking. 1) SOME of these beads fit the common Buddhist pattern, 108 beads plus a guru bead with the 108 broken into 4 sections of 27 beads each by 3 beads that are both visually different (different color, etc) and physically different (significantly smaller so you know by feel, etc). BUT... 2) The other beads you might expect to default to the traditional 108 beads plus a guru bead, the pattern shared with the malas used by Hindus. NOPE! NOT 108. For some reason 110 beads per mala seems popular. They also do not seem to be sandalwood either but I could be wrong about. I'm not sure why you might want to buy them but if you have no interest in using them for traditional work, or at least using most of them for that purpose, they seem sturdy enough to last a while and the price isn't bad. And A FEW of the beads in this entire set DO conform to the traditional pattern.
