I have these exact 3 cases that I bought many years ago from a commodities company (less expensive than these, but that was years ago) and I love these cases and was so happy to find them. I do 8-1/2 x 11 art work and store them in these cases - get about 50 pages in (guesstimate). Really nice quality cases. Virtually unbreakable. The snaps come off and snap right back on. Delighted! All these plastic cases are pricey - these last, however, are unbreakable; where some break easily. First class! Thumbs up! I've added a photo of the old ones from years ago (with work in them) and the new ones from DBROTH. They last! :)

I’m a little disappointed at the quality. They will still work. But the latches are quite stiff and tend to come apart if you aren’t real careful with them. But they were cheaper than other ones I looked at. So what did I expect.

I purchased this set to be able to easily store and transport photo ops at a convention. I also kept my printed schedule in there facing outward so I could easily see it through the transparent case and not risk mangling it over the course of a week of activities. I opened and closed the case many times every day to either put in or take out a photo to store or get signed. Eventually one of the little plastic bits that the side clasps on to broke, but since there's 4 total, missing one didn't cause a big issue and the case still opened and closed just fine. So while these aren't made of grade-A steel or something, I feel they're sturdy enough for all but some really rough use. The cases I used survived that week-long convention, and I plan to use them again next time. They kept everything safe and secure and pristine. Definitely was a good idea to have.

In order to transport papers in my work bag and not have them get damaged at all, I've been using these. They are perfect for that purpose. The cases are rigid and stay together, and yet they are easy to open. They feel too expensive for what they are, but they do the job so I am happy with my purchase.

For the price, these containers (file cases) are junk. The snaps that close the top to the bottom constantly fall off and the connection at the back of the cases is constantly falling out of the socket. Yes, they just snap back on but if the product was designed properly, it wouldn't happen at all. On the bright side, the colors are nice. Woohoo. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for a file case.

I'm returning these cases. They arrived warped, as other reviewers have stated. I do not believe it is a result of simply overheating in storage. The plastic is extremely thin and cheap. The edges of the case do not meet correctly -- either overlapping or gapping depending on the warp and any pressure applied. I have this style of file cases purchased years ago from another manufacturer and the plastic is much thicker and stronger and the edges meet correctly so I am not accepting a shoddily-made, defective substitute.

I've searched and searched for years to find more of these. I love them and use them for my cats vets visits. I have 5 rescues and know by the color which one is which cats. Purrfect little container for important notes that I carry when a vet visit is made. Love these!
