Excellent quality it works
My dog has many health issues and the latest was a heart murmur. It was confirmed by two different vets. Long story short Buddy my dog had to have a meibomian gland cyst removed from his eyelid. I had to bring him to an optometrist who specializes in these for removal. I was very concerned with him going under local anesthesia because of his health issues and also the newly diagnosed heart murmur. The Dr came in the room and questioned me on who told me he had a heart murmur. I told him two vets confirmed it, he then told me he doesn't have one and he even had the anesthesiologist double check. So the only thing I did different since his murmur diagnosis was add this Taurine product. Buddy was on this for a month when he saw the optometrist. Either the two vets who originally diagnosed him with the murmur were wrong or this product did a world of good! He has now been on this for almost 2 months and has had no side effects. One of the things I have noticed is his breathing seems better. I'm very happy with this product and will continue with him on it. Because Buddy is on a chemo med I put him on this just in case his body was being depleted from Taurine because of the medication along with the high end commercial foods lacking vitamins and nutrients. Definitely give this a try for your pup, even if it's just half a dose. Buddy is 25lbs and I break it in half then crush it and pour on his food. No problems with him eating it mixed with his canned food.

A must for any dogs suffering from heart disease.
My dog has heart disease, lung disease, and respiratory disease. She's 13 years old and after she went to her cardiologist and got her meds, she started improving quite a bit. However, there were still issues at night which most of us who go through this will understand. My dog really doesn't have much fluid issues but night time was an anxiety ridden time for me - forget relaxing. She wouldn't stay still, she kept jumping up and down the chairs and kept going outside then inside. She was driving me insane but at least she wasn't coughing (Vetmedin helped for that). The vet never recommended any supplements but I gave this a shot anyway. For the most part, I had always fed her very well (mostly home-made foods) but I changed from grain free to whole grains and made sure everything was very low sodium and completely changed her snacks which was probably the most difficult part since she had come to expect them. Initially I would only give 1 of these supplements, sometimes 2 per day just to test these out. I started out very inconsistent because I was cautious to add anything to her doctors multiple prescribed meds. Once I started giving her the appropriate dose for her size (3 pills per day) I noticed immediately, she stopped bothering me at night. She stopped fidgeting and would have restful sleeps and didn't wake me up. Some complain they don't like how the pills fall apart when they are older but I actually prefer this because like my magnesium pills, they work better when they are stronger and "fresher". Needless to say I don't really have an issue with this as I now make sure she gets them 3 times per day everyday. I really hope more people try this out for their dogs with heart disease because it has had a significant positive impact on mine. Taurine is great for the heart. I say if you are on the fence, just give it a try. This was definitely one of the best decisions I made for her.

Take GOOD CARE OF YOUR DOG
Love this My sheltie is 15 years old and she doesn’t just lay around anymore. I started with one tablet and now we re on 2 and a half a day. She was so close to being put down but not anymore. She can get up and walk so much better and gets a pep in her step sometimes

Highly recommended!
Our 8 year old Maltipoo’s “reverse sneezes” essentially disappeared in the first week. The frequency and severity of the “reverse sneezes” is greatly diminished. It worked for us so - Highly Recommended!

Would recommend
I have used this particular product for a few years, have it on subscribe and save, will continue to use it. I have a couple of small dogs with heart murmurs. A veterinarian and an animal chiropractor both recommended taurine and CoQ10 supplements for their heart murmurs. That said, I do NOT use it in place of heart meds, just in addition to. I place both supplements in soft dog food, and they eat it without a problem.

Cough was better but made dog nauseous
This product definitely Helped my dog's cough but it made her nauseous. My pug has a collapsing trachea and her cough has gotten really bad in the last few months. We have tried literally everything outside of surgery but she's nearly 14 so I don't want to risk it. After two days on the Taurine her cough is remarkedly better, however, during the early morning today she threw up. She finally ate her breakfast and then an hour later she threw up five times. The only thing that has changed is the addition of Taurine. Unfortunately I have to discontinue it and hope her body readjusts quickly without needing a vet visit. We are watching her closely but it seems to be resolving. I'm disappointed that what seemed to be the answer for her was not compatible with her digestive system.
