Great pans
This is a real, quality, non-stick pan! Much better than the Hexclad pans we bought. I highly recommend this pan if you’re looking for non-stick, compatible with induction, high quality pans at a reasonable price.

A Definite Buy
I am extremely pleased with this pan. I have been looking for months for cookware that’s safe, good and will last but that doesn’t cost hundreds/thousands of dollars. GreenPan kept coming up in my research as a contender so I decided to try. Originally I purchased a GreenPan frying pan from Walmart for $40; however, it turned out to be a waste of money. It worked great the first time I used it but food started sticking after the first use. I decided to try the more expensive GreenPan frying pan which lead me to this one. The Valencia Pro is the best. It’s heavy, holds heat and cooks evenly. It can also be used in the oven. I have used it every day and it is amazing…nothing sticks so it makes clean-up a breeze. I’m going to use it a while longer just to test it a little more but if it continues to be as good as it is now I will definitely be buying more GreenPan cookware. But my advise…don’t waste your money on the cheaper versions of GreenPan…spend a little more and get the Valencia Pro…it’s well worth the extra cost.

I'm a non-stick snob. This is a great pan!
My favorite non-stick pans used to be hard-anodized, like Circulon. I still like them. The new Hexpans are nice -- but not really nonstick. Hexpan is best thought of as a really great stainless steel pan, which can be used with high heat for browning and do not require gentle treatment. My past experience with ceramics has been mixed -- great at first, but too easy to "ruin" by sautéing at higher heat. GreenPan is a step up. The non-stick surface is the best. Treat it right, and you will love this pan forever. Food slips around effortlessly. Surface is strong and not easily scratched, but it's still a good idea to use non-metal utensils. Best used as an egg pan. But... Don't cook proteins on high heat. That will eventually ruin any non-stick surface, with invisible build-up on the non-stick surface. You have been warned!

Waste of money!
After three months, eggs & other food stick on this pan. I talk with mag. & they gave me instructions to correct, but the pan doesn't go back to not sticking. A total waste of money. Looked at videos that compare ceramic pans & they recommend not buying because of these issues.

One Year of Use
I purchased the 8” pan after dealing with ceramic pans that fail in 3 months despite proper care and low heat. I can say this pan is still going strong after a year of use. It may be starting to become less non-stick, but still very acceptable. Works well with my induction cooktop. No issues there. Solid pan and worth the money.

A great alternative to 8" Teflon-coated pans
This was my first GreenPan purchase. I use the pan multiple times per week. Overall, I am very happy with the pan, and it is holding up well. I heat very slowly, as recommended, and some may consider this annoying, but I am happy to avoid pans with Teflon coatings. I will say that a very light coating of fat is all that I use, less than would be the case in a stainless steel or cast iron pan. I'll add that for some reason extra virgin olive oil does not work well with eggs in this pan. Still trying to figure out that one. No similar issues with butter, goose fat, duck fat, lard, or beef tallow. I subsequently bought the 10" and 12" pans directly from GreenPan while they were running a sale. Although it is not a major issue with the 8" pan, I'll just add that if you decide to buy a larger one, either in addition to or as an alternative to this pan, then it seems that the center on these larger pans is crowned sufficiently that any cooking fat flows to the outer edge of the cooking surface. This is a bit annoying if you are trying to keep the amount of fat to a minimum. Overall, I am glad I bought this pan, and the other larger pans as well. They clean very easily. They perform well, and I own multiple AllClad pans of similar sizes.

Green Pan is highly ranked, preferred, and it's for a good reason
They say that people really do read reviews. I agree as I am one of those people. I also write reviews, not for every product, but definitely for those products that warrant a review. Green Pans Valencia series is one such product. I purchased these pans and pots to replace two other sets of non-stick we have. One is an original Emeril Lagasse set from 2004. Shows how good those pans were. The other a Gotham Steel Copper set from 2018, not so good. I felt it was time for a unified looking set and I had just watched America's Test Kitchen review cookware. They're top pick for non-stick was the Green Pan Valencia series. Consumer Reports rated them very highly as well. I had a simple set of Green Pans shortly after they came out on the market in 2013 in the second home we had. Our youngest son has them now, so I was already familiar with the brand. It was the Gotham Stell ones that replaced those pans. But as I noted, they weren't as good as the Green Pans or The Emeril set. So, when Amazon had a sale on the Green Pans, I pulled the trigger. We've had the pans now for a couple of weeks and followed the pre-use instructions. First, they got a light wash. Then, on their first use they were heated on a medium heat for a minute or two before any oil was added. By adding oil, I mean a tablespoon or less. To date they have been wipe out clean after frying. Just like on TV. They are very substantive in the hands, but not heavy. They heat evenly and there is no noted running of liquids or oils to one side or the other showing the pans are flat. They are rated for all types of cooking surfaces, but we have electric and have noted the setting of the stove is a little lower on all burners, indicative of a good thorough heating material. I hope to get a couple of decades out of this set. But I do note, my wife kept a couple of the small 8 inch Emeril pans for eggs.

Best non-stick-TV reviews are accurate
Absolutely the best non-stick pan. I saw a tv show testing non stick pans-this brand and model were the best tested. They are worth paying a bit more! I bought 2 different types of non stick pans at the same time and the other, although good quality, the non stick is already deteriorating. This one wrks as well as the day I bought it and I use it several times a week, at least. Even though they can be washed in the dishwasher, wash these by hand so they last longer. I hate washing by hand, but this pan is so good it is super easy and it only takes seconds. I wish I bought a 2 pan skillet set instead. I will be buying more pans in this collection!

Excellent product
I bought this pan for its handy size and safe non-stick coating. The quality is excellent: even heat, good weight; nice touch; really non-stick so super easy to clean (except that it gets stained by tomato sauce quite easily). Very happy with the performance so far.

This is one of the best frying pans that I’ve ever bought, although only time will tell. It is very easy to use and clean and is the most healthy product to use being ceramic
