I used this to go over the side light by my front door. You can see through it if you put your face right up to it, so it works well for us if we need to see who is outside. It would be awkward for someone outside to do the same thing, and it provides decent coverage, so we like it for this purpose. It looks attractive and was fairly easy to apply, although you do need a sharp utility knife to make sure to get a smooth cut around the edges after applying. The material is kind of thick, so I had to be careful not to rip it when the utility knife didn't go through all the way. Things I would change: Provide more complete directions. The printed directions that came with it didn't even take it through all the steps. Put in a little tab or something to make peeling the backing off a little easier to get started. It was not easy to try to get a tip of a fingernail in between the sheaths of material.

Easy to install and pretty to look at. Lets plenty of light in and screens people from looking in. It is not full blocking of viewing but a very blurred image when looking through.

Great product. It came in the mail as described. It easy to apply, with the film not sticking to itself so you can easily move it around to correct placement. I had a window that needed some extra covering without adding curtains and it was the perfect solution. It allows some light to come in, but it also gives privacy. When done, it looks like little pebble rocks placed on the window.

"Translucent" they say. Nope. Some parts of this window covering are indeed translucent, but most of it is 100% transparent. We bought this to buy some privacy from our AirBnB, but even after putting this on BOTH sides of the window, there's almost no notion of translucency. If you're wearing your birthday suit on the other side of two layers of this stuff, you're not hiding much of anything from the world. I feel duped into buying a product. Not cool. More than half of this thing is totally transparent, hiding nothing, and letting all, unfiltered, unscattered light through in all of its glory. ...If that's what you're looking for, then this product is for you.

I have used art film before for other windows in another home. Although this works great! for very large windows, and is pretty. (looks great in my bathroom window). It does not have the static cling for smaller windows. The other windows and film I have used, have a backing one has to remove, that allows the "static cling" aspect, and makes it perfect for smaller windows. I am having to buy another kind of art film for a small round, quadrant divided window. This kind just would not stick regardless of what I tried. Just FYI for what kind of window you are looking to cover with art film.

I bought this product primarily to keep the noisy neighbors from seeing through the window of out storm door. What I got was a product that added privacy to our door, but beauty to the door. It provided protection from the sun and made that part of the room more inviting and it was easy to apply . its a good product at a great price.

I LOVE this product!!!!! I had a scratch on my black dishwasher from too vigoreous scrubbing when I moved in 4 years ago. I looked for something to cover it, but all the magnetic covers wouldn't stick to the glass front. In the mean time I had a new "rock/pebble" floor put in. When I saw this pattern, I Hoped it would work--I've had so many compliments!!! They notice the cling on pebbles before my new floor & then tell me it goes so perfectly with the floor!!! LOVE it!!! The only issue I had was being patient as I tried to get the film separated from the pebble cling part!!!! Just when I was getting frustrated, it came apart!!! That was the hardest part! The rest was easy to apply! Did I tell you I LOVE it??

I am disappointed. It is thick and nicely made but I can not figure out for the life of me on how to get it to stay on. Instructions were not clear enough. Supposedly you peel a backing off?? Tried for a half hour to "peel of a backing" but there doesn't seem to be any! Tried spritzing window with water and used a squeegee to cling and that worked......until the next morning when they were all on the floor. I got frustrated and put them aside. I have to think of alternative way to put up. **update** I received a reply in comments which made me realize that it can't be used on frosted glass. I am using it on a front door with etched glass so there lies a problem. I like these very much and really wanted to use them still so I went to our local dollar store and bought some double sided transparent tape and put it around all the edges of window and then pressed the vinyl onto window while smoothing. Worked great! They have been up for months now with no problem. I am happy now.
