Tyvek flashing tape vs tyvek straightflash? Can someone please tell me the difference between these 2 flashings? Why would I use one over the other?

I spoke with a DuPont field rep and he clarified the differences between the two. The StraightFlash and Flashing Tape products are essentially the same product with the StraightFlash product aimed more at commercial installations due to a longer exposure rating (9 months vs 4 for Flashing Tape) and a slightly thicker base material. Both are butyl based products and either would be appropriate for residentilal installations with limited exposiure to the weather before being covered up with siding. etc.

Is this the same quality tape as the 2 inch Tyvek Tape. I am doing a epoxy project and need tape the epoxy wont adhere to.

It’s not the same thing! Do NOT use flashing tape for an epoxy mold. Use sheathing tape.

Is the exterior cover white?

Yes, white with blue TYVEK lettering and other side is the adhevive tar seal.
