I have used the batteries form this vendor on prior occasions. The batteries are always fresh and long lasting. I use them in the sensors of my alarm system.

In general, these batteries are fine. However, ONE month ago I ordered this set due to multiple low battery warnings in some of our home alarm devices. The batteries that came then were gray/black, not the black, blue, yellow colors as pictured. They lasted only a month, typically they last 1-2 years. The new set that came were the pictured colors. I'm guessing the gray/black ones were generic OEM or foreign knock-offs that were low quality. Amazon wouldn't refund because it was past 30 days, although how was I supposed to know they would be defective right away? Anyway, if the batteries you receive don't have the same black/blue/yellow colors as pictured in this description, my recommendation is to immediately send them back for an exchange with the reason being the product provided doesn't match the description.

Don't be put off by the fact that these batteries will arrive in a zip-lock bag, the distributors are clearly buying in bulk and splitting them down to smaller packages. I needed to replace 40 (!) batteries in all of my wireless security sensors. At $6 - $8 a pop in retail outlets, that was going to be a very expensive undertaking. The price you pay for not having alarm wiring run, right ? By the way, alarm installers will tell you to replace all batteries in every device when you get a low battery warning. This is due to the fact that if they were all installed at similar times, then (a) you're going to get a lot more low battery warnings over the next couple of months, and more importantly (b) because all your devices have worn down the batteries, they may be transmitting their wireless signals a lot more weakly. If you only install a few devices with new batteries, these devices will now have nice strong signals, and this could lead to interference and other unexplainable behavior. You're better off replacing them all at once, so that all devices have nice strong signals. I ordered four packs of 10 batteries, had them shipped next day by Amazon Prime, and when they arrived, I tested each and every battery. All were brand new, showing at least 3.21 - 3.22 V open circuit. All of them had expiry dates of 2021, so plenty of shelf life remaining. If you need a lot of these batteries - probably for a situation similar to mine, then this is a great item to purchase. Electrifying.
