Very useful and practical air fryer. Having the heater/oven on the glass top attached to an arm that swings up and out of the way is very innovative and sooooo useful. As a result, you do not have to look around to find a flat, heat-proof surface to place the large, glass top after or during the cooking process. This feature is fantastic! This manufacturer (SANHOYA) may have the BEST and most consumer-oriented customer service I have EVER experienced. Through no fault of theirs, my first shipment of this air fryer arrived very damaged (glass bowl was shattered into hundreds of broken pieces of glass), glass top and heater all used and greasy and several items missing...power cord, racks, pizza tray, etc. ONE EVENING, SOON AFTER, I WAS VERY SURPRISED SANHOYA CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED ME...FROM CHINA. FROM CHINA!!!! They made the process of getting this problem resolved very easy and fast. FANTASTIC SERVICE! And I'm SURE they DID NOT cause the breakage or missing pieces or greasy residue on the product. They made sure I got a new one right away. They REALLY stand behind their products! My only complaint is there is no interior light on the air fryer so you can see how the cooking is progressing. I'm working on using some sort of external halogen light for this. Stay tuned!! Fine product, fine company, great customer service, what more could you ask for?

Update Feb 2024. The power switch is stuck ON - it cannot be turned off. I think it was useless anyway since I unplug it to store it away. It's good that it jammed ON instead of OFF. I bought this to replace an old NuWave oven of similar design that finally died. I decided to spend the extra money to get this one because the lid simply tilts open instead of having to place it on a stand. With the old unit, it was a pain to put the lid on the stand just right so it would not fall down. This new model makes things a lot easier. The controls on this new oven take some getting use to. If you want to cook something at 400, you have to actually choose 410, since it only has 20-degree increments. The quickest way to set for 10 minutes at 410 is to hit the Cake button, which sets to 390 for 11 minutes, then you hit the time-down button to get 10 minutes and up-temperature button to get 410 degrees. It is very easy to clean - just spray some glass cleaner in and wipe with paper towel, or put glass portion of oven in the dishwasher. You will need to have counter space that is not directly under a cabinet, since the top swings up to open, and some cabinets might not be high enough.

I LOVED THIS AIRFRYER BUT FOUND IT TO BE LACKING IN TWO AREAS. ONE BEING UNABLE TO COOK THE UNDERSIDE OF FOOD AND THE OTHER WAS THE SLOW MALFUNCTIONS OF THE POWER SUPPLY. THIS CARRIED ME THROUGH THE PANDEMIC WITH PREPARATION OF THREE-SQUARE MEALS DAILY NOT INCLUDING THE REGULAR FOOD REHEATINGS IN BETWEEN. FOR THE PRICE, THIS WAS HANDS DOWN A GREAT AIRFRYER. IT LASTED FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS. THE POWER SWITCH STARTED FAILING BUT I MANAGED TO KEEP IT IN THE ON POSITION, SO THAT ALL I NEED TO DO IS CANCEL COOKING AND REMOVE CORD FROM WALL PLUG. THIS SERVED ITS PURPOSE FULLY BECAUSE I'VE ENJOYED SO MANY MEALS THAT WERE COOKED IN IT. ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. THE SWITCH COULD USE HEAT SHIELDING TO MINIMIZE WEAR AND TEAR. IF ONLY I COULD HAVE HAD IT LONGER, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. PLEASE BUY IF YOU CAN, IT WAS WORTH THE MONEY.

We were excited about this product because we really wanted an air fryer & something that could do everything a regular oven can do. It arrived promptly when expected & the instructions were clear to understand & operation seemed fairly clear to do, however, the item does not work so we contacted support & they walked us through a reset & it did work for roughly 5 minutes. The heating or cooking element doesn’t work. We are in the process of returning it for a refund. Very disappointed 😞

Loved the glass bowl. Unfortunately it died after only 6 months of very light use, and there’s no way to get warranty support of any kind. So I’m stuck with a big glass bowl. I got a response from from seller thru Amazon but there’s no contact email address for the seller and the phone is forever busy. How do you communicate?

You know, if you spend the time to wade thru all the sponsored stuff and the click bait, sometimes you find a gem. This is it for me. It’s my second air fryer. What I really appreciate about this is I can see my food! Secondarily, it’s a giant glass bowl that’s easy to clean. Thirdly I can fit anything I want to cook in it. Lastly, I had an issue with the water reservoir and the customer service squared it away ASAP. Love this thing. I use it almost every day. From bacon and spam to grilled cheese and pizza; nails it every time. You know why, cause you can look at it and tweak it. The custom cook functions work great out of the box too. Great tool for the shop.

The reason I bought this air fryer was because the glass bowl would be a lot easier to clean. I had a different air fryer before this one, and it was very difficult to clean the inside, which resulted in smoke filling out the back when I would use it. The glass bowl turned out to be the only thing I like about this air fryer. I’ve had it for about two years and I’ve only used it a handful of times because it does not make the schedule as crispy as the standard kind of air fryer. I even bought additional racks to put inside . I wish I didn’t spend so much money on it because now I feel obligated to keep it.
