Great Portable Goal for Youth Practice
Our soccer league has been using this same goal for weekly practices since last year, which gave me the confidence to purchase one for my 9-year-old and his teammates. Itโs been excellent for practicing kicks, shooting drills, and warm-ups. After about a year of consistent use (with the leagueโs goals), Iโve noticed just a couple of minor things. The carrying bagโs zipper isnโt the highest quality, though I was able to fix mine easily upon arrival. Also, when removing the support poles, be careful that the small bushings donโt come loose. This has happened with a few team goals, so itโs simply something to keep in mind during takedown. That said, the goal itself is durable, stable, and holds up very well for a portable setup. Itโs lightweight, easy to assemble, and convenient to set up just about anywhere. Overall, Iโm extremely satisfied with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it for youth players and casual practice sessions.

Good lower cost alternative to Bownet, not a full 7' high
Can't speak to durability yet, but so far so good. I didn't want to spend north of $350 for a Bownet that's the same size, so I opted for this one. When assembled the top tape is 6.5' off the ground, not 7'. However I actually like this since 6.5' is the height of a regulation youth goal. 14' width is narrower than a regulation 18.5' goal which is great for practice. Perfect size for my 7 year old. Quality is fine though the hinge at one of the back corners is slightly misaligned and i have to push with a bit extra force to get the button to lock in place. Otherwise it will close when I attach the net at the top. I almost sent it back because of this but decided to deal with it for now. Hopefully it will get easier with repeated use. The other side is fine and easily locks in place. The plastic caps on the front of the goal also popped out on the first use. They're pretty bad quality so will likely be lost soon, though you can pick up something similar at Home Depot. If you have a small car you may have a hard time getting it in your trunk. It won't fit in the trunk of my Honda Civic, so I lay it on the floor of the back seat. Slight hassle but not a big deal. If that is a problem the 6x12 net may be better for you. The 7x14 comes with a wheeled bag which is nice and has straps if you need to carry it. So far durability is fine but I've used it only twice. I'll report back with any issues. Not perfect but overall I'm happy. UPDATE: I did manage to get it to fit in my trunk with the bag. Need to angle it perfectly then push one of the wheels a little to get it in but it fits. So if you have a trunk bigger than that of my Civic it should fit. Also the one hinge that needed a little extra force to get the locking pin to pop in place seems to have loosened up a bit and now pops in place very easily. So far so good. After a full year of use including many practices with my son's club team the goal has held up great. No issues whatsoever. Very happy with the goal and changing my review to 5 stars.

Great Soccer nets, own 2 of various sizes, good customer service if you call them as well.
I had forgotten that I never left a review after using this net since Oct of 2024. This is the second Powernet I own for my soccer team and they are wonderful. I coach U16 boys soccer now but have always ordered Powernets for my team, upgrading as needed once the kids got older. They are simple to to set up, nets are sturdy, my older net started coming apart from 5 years of use but I just tied it back together. Recently I purchased the 18.5 x 6.5 and it was substantially bigger than my older 12x6, which the kids love. After a few months of owning the 18.5 which does come with rolling wheels, one of the corners ripped. I called the company and they were able to ship out a new bag at new charge, great customer service. Just yesterday I noticed that when someone was helping me put away the net, we lost the plastic plugs that are at the base of the poles, called the company after their posted hours, someone picked up and directed me to their site to order replacements. Overall very happy with the product, company and customer service. The 18Ft net is hefty and long, the wheels help, but unless you have a SUV or car where you can put down the back seats, you will have to consider that when purchasing.

Goal Could Not Be Assembled Out of the Box. Incorrect Parts
I'm going to keep this at a 1 start right now. I just bought 2 of these 14'x7' goals. One went together perfect. The second one came out of the box with problems. It was just put together at the factory wrong. Main supporting bracket in the center of the base was on upside down. It would not allow the legs to lock into position. Had I not just put together the other goal, I would have never known this was the issue. Fortunately, I was able to remove the bracket and turn it right side up and make the legs lock. The other problem is unfortunately not easily fixed. On the base there are four holes (one on each corner). 3 out of 4 holes are the correct diameter and accept the poles perfect. The 4th hole is about a 1/8" smaller and will not accept the pole. Its really frustrating to get something brand new out of the box and it is just manufactured wrong. I was able to pull the insert out of the base. I sent email and picture to PowerNet hoping to get the correct piece that I can plug into the base frame. I won't have two goals for my practice on Monday like I had hoped, but if I can get the peice I need to make this goal work, I am willing to change my review based on the performance of the goal rather than the assembly of the goal out of the box. If I cannot get help from PowerNet, I will return both goals and pay a little extra for the same type of goal from Bownet. I went with PowerNet due to price.

Good net for affordable price
Update: This goal is holding up well and works great, but the bag!!! I'd happily pay an additional $10-20 for a bag that is somewhat durable. Very impressed with how the goal has held up in wet Washington. So far so good. After having a Skillz rebounder/goal that didn't hold up, decided to get a separate rebounder and goal. Then I decided to get a goal big enough to use as a game sized goal for my U-10 team and went with the Powernet. It is very sturdy, yet simple to assemble. Takes a couple of minutes to put together by myself. Holds up well to shots, and though it comes with stakes I haven't needed them yet. Makes practice better for the kids then having to use flags for goals, or cones. I also use it as a counter attack goal for my U-13 team. My big fear is the poles not splitting, but they seem real sturdy. The bag could be more durable, not as nice as a Bownet's, but the goal is significantly less expensive. A great add on option if possible would be to sell an attachable cover that could turn it into a team shelter as it is about the perfect size. Will update after the season.

Great goal! Good shape and sturdy
I bought the 12x6 version. There are other nets out there with this same shape but twice the price and since this had pretty good reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I've had the net for about a week and have put over 1000 shots on goal. Both kids and adults use it so its had heavy use and it's holding up real well. It is designed well to absorb the shock of a hard shot using two anchors towards the front of the goal and elastic cables to anchor it to the ground. We've put a few hard shots of the post and it just bounces off and doesnot appear to effect it structurally. I looked at a few other options that had two poles to keep the goal shape and my neighbor went with one of those but after a few months the goal started loosing its shape. My hope is that since this goal has four poles keeping tension it will hold its shape much longer. If anything changes I'll update my post. One person can put this goal up in less then 2 minutes and take it down equally as fast. It fits nicely in the storage bag and can be carried around. There is some weight to it so I wouldn't want to carry it around for long. That is not a knock on the goal rather just an observation and something I think most people would expect with a 12ft goal. (There are instructions included but it is very self explanatory) One thing that I thought was unusual is that the bar across the bottom of the goal does not sit flush all the way across. Had I read the instructions rather then jumping into it I would have seen that it was by design, my bad. Overall I couldn't be happier with the goal at this point. My kids love it and it never gets put away.

Excellent goal, excellent customer service. (QC Issues)
Seems like it's made very well. It's very easy to put together and the quality of overall materials seem excellent. Unfortunately, the quality control seems to be lacking a little bit. While the net seems sturdy, mine has area's that are already frayed and make me thing that failure will happen sooner rather than failure. If you get one without quality control issues you've got a solid product! Update: Customer service is excellent, I contacted them regarding the issue and was immediately contacted and a new net was sent out for the goal. Excellent experience. Hopefully they can increase the quality control so they don't have to deal with these issues.

Great soccer goal
The portable soccer net is a great product. This product is different from the fixed frame nets I have used in the past and I was a bit concerned with the stability of the goal. This net is very stable even when the ball is kicked very hard. We use it with my teenage son in our front yard without putting the stakes in the ground. The goal does not fly away and stays on the ground. The four flexible โpostsโ holding the net are strong and can take some hits as well. This net is easy to assemble and disassemble. It just takes a few minutes and few very simple steps. Read the notice before assembling the goal the first time. There are two exact bends just above the middle hinge bracket. It seems at first that the frame is bent but this is by design. I returned the first net as no instruction or labels were included in the first package. The bag is a bit small to put the folded net in it easily. A few inches longer will help slot it in without stretching the bag. As a youth soccer coach, the goal is a great tool to conduct the kicking drills and goalie practices. My adult league soccer team bought two of these goals for practices and recreational games and all feedback is very positive. Overall, I recommend this product for recreational soccer or more competitive use.

not going to knock this thing over by kicking the ball

Weak construction
Support arm for the top pieces of the net broke. Now we're 10 days outside the return window and stuck with a $400 goal that can't be used. Not good.
