What is the best electric wok

I like the Presto 1500 Watt Wok, model 5900, available on Amazon. Its a 14" diameter stainless steel wok, so you don't have to deal with the delicate non-stick coating. Can use metal implements and clean up is not much harder then "non-stick" ie. best to put water in after using, let it sit for a few minutes on med. heat before washing. Can use a microfiber pad or any other scrubber for stubborn stains (rare). Also you don't need to wash every time....just heat up water in the wok to boiling and then rinse a couple times......heat kills germs! It might not look bright and shiny but its just as safe as a full cleaning.

what is the durable coating made of?

The coating is like Teflon. I only used this twice however because the electric control is very loose where it fits into the wok plus the temperature control is erratic and difficult to set. In the "OFF" position mine was still "ON" and hot.

What is the California warning about toxic material in this product? What is the toxic material?
