What is the thickness of the portion that inserts through the marble counter top?

I used a standard 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ hole in the countertop, like a normal faucet.  If you are wanting to know the size of the piece that goes in the hole to secure rinser, that is 13/16" or (21 mm) Dia.

Does this come with a spacer so I can raise it above the lip of a drop in sink?

Question 3

Does the spray work for more narrow neck bottles? About the size of a beer bottle.

Yes,  it most definitely will work.   I just used it to rinse out about a dozen 9 oz. Elmer’s glue bottles [without making a mess] helping a teacher friend of mine with a class project, and the opening hole for these, after removing the glue spout-obviously- is 2 centimeters.    So, yes, it’ll definitely work on a beer bottle, no problem.   You just need to position the opening of the bottle directly covering the center of the sprayer, which is where all the holes are, so that the water shoots directly up into it.   I plan to record a video demonstrating the various size objects it can rinse out sometime this weekend, and I’ll include a beer bottle [or something close to it since I don’t drink beer] for you so you can see for yourself. Question 4

Is it best to use this with hot or cold water?  i am waiting in my home brew bar, and thought you would need hot to wash, and cold to cool?
