This took care of every aphid in the yard and all the way around the house. This was a great value. It comes with instructions and unboxing and opening packages was incredibly easy. Everything was as described and here it is couple months later and I still find ladybugs outside that I purchased. Makes me feel good cuz that means they've had a lot to eat and all of my plants are blooming quite nicely. I highly recommend this if you have roses in your gardens or yard or any type of aphid at all, these ladybugs will take care of them in no time flat. Very little loss due to death upon arrival. Almost everything was alive and squirming. I think they were 10 that weren't so that's a huge huge amount of positive.

Ladies came in alive only around 5-10 where dead out of the full bag. Misted the bag when it came in with a spray bottle to hydrate them them they really are thirsty on arrival like very. released them at dusk and watched them Spread all over my tomatoes and underside leaves than I watched them eat aphids left and right it was fun I witnessed the great tomato war of ‘23 . A good amount have lingered and called my garden home. Don’t be surprised when a lot of them do decide to leave in the first 1-2 days after clearing up alot of the aphids as long as 5-10 remain in the garden and keep reproducing the larvae (even more hungry than the adult) your set ! I have a solid 20-30 ladybugs who have been living within the confines of my tomatoes I have alot of lady bug larvae emerging (awesome) and my aphid issue is pretty much cured.

I purchased these to bust an aphid infestation on a hydroponic tomato plant. These little ones did the job in about three days and saved my plant! I put about 30 of them on the plant, adding about an extra 10 per day. To water, use a spritzer water bottle and a damp paper towel. They love a bit of honey on a paper towel changed daily, as well as raisins soaked in water - also changed daily. I put the rest of the gang in a mesh pop up tent with food, water and an egg carton as shelter and they have been doing great. Plan to release them outdoors as soon as the weather warms up a bit more as I’m in a mountainous area. Also, a super easy way to pick them up and move them is to use a small, clean paint brush. They grab onto it easily and it’s simple to move them from the tent to the plant as needed. This is soooooo much better and easier than pesticide. They hoovered up every aphid like little champs. They also arrived quickly and in good condition. Very few were dead. The others were very active and ready to get to work. I’d order from this seller again.

Aome were dead but that was expected. Most were alive and eager to come out! My loquat tree is infested with aphids and these ladies went to town munching away! Will be buying more since the infestation is pretty heavy!

I was expecting this almost 7 days after I ordered them. But they arrived within 3 days of ordering, and within 2 days of seeing the "shipped" notification. My mail carrier put it in the mailbox, which was surprising because it said on the package "live insects - beneficial bugs inside". You'd think they'd knock or something. Anywho, not mad about it. I grabbed it as soon as I got the delivered message. And took it outside to my plants that had Aphids. I struggled to cut the bag they were in, everytime I'd get a good corner to cut clear of any ladybugs, they'd crawl towards it. So I only managed about a 1.5" hole, which they ran out of so fast! Lol. I immediately held it touching the plants that had bunches of Aphids, and those ladybugs got to work immediately! If they noticed an Aphid, they were on top of it so fast. XD obviously some flew away, but the package said the amount of ladybugs could cover a 1,000 sqft area, and I only needed it for maybe 20 sq ft. Lol. So I think its fine! I Will definitely be doing this again. Worth every penny. Plus I love gardening and beneficial bugs I'm not scared of. Lol! Thanks so much!!! (maybe a couple were dead, but it's to be expected) Ps: the instructions.... So I did this in the bright sunlight, around 3pm, 90 degrees outside... Expecting it to go horribly wrong... however I did water my garden well before, so that's probably why the majority of them stayed.

They arrived in about five days ~ hardly any were dead. I would say maybe 30 bugs total. I released them in four areas of my yard after misting the area. They pretty much walked out on their own. I just cut a corner out of the bag and kind of held it over the plant or I placed it by a plant so they could crawl out on their own. Definitely good value for the money will probably order again next year if I see the need.

No one told me how fun it would be to release a bunch of ladybugs! There wasn't a single dead ladybug in our pkg. After reading other reviews, I knew not to open the bag indoors. As it turns out, that is the best advice anyone could give because these ladybugs are ready to get out!!! I snipped a small hole in the corner of the bag - about the size of 2 ladybugs and it was like someone had yelled fire in a movie theater! They just started coming out one right after the other. Within a minute, they were all over the bag and crawling up my hand and arm - and! You could see legs popping through the bag as they were headed for the door. These were some motivated ladybugs! My daughter and I ran around to all our plants with aphids to drop off a handful on each... but there were a ton left and there was no way to stop them without injuring a few.... so we did what any kindhearted neighbor would do! We ran to other yards dropping off ladybugs as we went. It was amazing! We were laughing the entire time. Did they stick around? Not really. Did I do something wrong with the honey water? Excellent chance. We will definitely do this again and adjust our sprayer for bigger droplets and more honey. Not only are they beneficial, but having this experience with your kids will be a memorable one! Highly recommend!
