will this help my rosacea and acne break outs

I can tell you the answer to the acne question. While 10% Azelaic Acid will help reduce acne along with salycilic acid in this product, your Dr can call in a 20%cream of Azelaic Acid (called Azelex) it’s for Rosacea and mild to moderate acne, and it is a MIRACLE worker! It works systemically , so you must use it up to two or three weeks to see very clear skin. If you have insurance, it’s a copay, like mine. If not, don’t bother, because it is extremely expensive (3-6 hundred dollars) RX wise. I had severe acne (adult onset acne) and researched for something to help because all the other crap (medications, benzaclin, blah blah blah) was not working. This product (RX one) will sting a tiny tiny bit, but that eventually goes away. I’m an Esthetician and would not steer you wrong!! Azelaic Acid is good! Hope this helps you!!! Go see your doctor, and ask him about Azelex 20%cream!

I thought azelaic acid was only by prescription. Is this really in it?

Azelaic Acid is available by prescription in concentrations of 15% or higher. Because this product contains 10% Azelaic Acid, is can be sold over the counter.

Is this product silicone based?
