Works with my HD 560S sounds just like the orginal cable, great lenght, and quality. Expected a more braided cable for flexibility etc but this works just fine given the lenght.

Works as a replacement, though I think these are slightly more brittle than the ones that shipped with the headset- where the first one lasted two years, these replacements have only lasted one a piece.

Genuine for sure. Steep on cost, but it really is the best sounding cable. A little more volume and a little more crisp on all bass mids and highs. than long one, just marvelous cables b it's also a little thinner.

Stays in, sound absolutely perfect, cable is the right length and fit, wonderful replacement, no regrets.

Seemed to be a perfect replacement, but when I got it I found it did not fit my particular Sennheiser model. The plug that needed to fit the ear piece was the correct size but the rubber base of the plug was too fat. Luckily I had a nail file that was rough enough to carefully resize the round bottom part (which conveniently had a score at about the needed quarter inch) after which it fit and worked just fine. Although I had bought the headset here on Amazon, I no longer had anything with the model number and couldn’t seem to go back far enough into my purchase history to find it. Sad that such a pricey headset came with such a flimsy cable. Before buying a new one I tried to repair the old one and found it severely lacking…too thin wires, too stretchy wire sheaths making it impossible to strip, not enough shielding. My old Beats cable was much better, but both ends were eighth inch.

Sennheiser has been around a looooong time! For sound capture, they make some of the best microphones. The MKE416 or simply ‘416’ is on practically every news network and documentary camera since the late 90’s. It is the standard! For sound playback, Sennheiser makes some of the best headphone’s bar none. So Sennheiser knows great sound, we can get that out of the way right now. For headphone cables, this is a sad day for such industry excellence. This cable is junk. A $3 Monoprice mini audio cable sounds far better. This cable is so cheap its not even insulated. If it rubs against anything, I can hear it in the phones. The sound quality is awful. If you buy this cable, your paying for the twist-lock mini-plug connector, 5x more then its worth. Sennheiser you know better then to sell such junk.

bit pricey but so far the cables from Sennheiser are the longest lasting and highest quality replacements. Worth your money!

It works, -1 for being a little on the expensive side. -1000 because my cat keeps eating the cable...

Used to replace original 3 metre headphone cable which for my use was too long, this cable is more appropriate at 1.2 metre and the sound is just as good.

Buy to replace the long and redundant 3m cable for my 560S. Really Expensive cable but work well I guess. Hope it last.
