I'm new to home recording (covid-inspired!). can i plug my guitar into this and connect to pc to record it? is other hardware needed?

This model has only audio outputs, you would have to buy the upgraded models that include audio inputs if you want to record guitar and also you will need some kind of digital audio workstation (DAW) if you want to record in your computer. search for free DAW on google for some free ones or buy Logic, Ableton live or FL studio.

Hi - would this be suitable for linking an ipad pro to a roland fantom so that the sounds from the ipad can be played through the keyboard?

Hi, M-Audio support here! AIR|HUB is sadly not compatible with iPad OS and is designed for operation with Windows and Mac OS. For further support, please contact us directly - amzsupport@m-audio.com

Will i be able to route native instruments maschine through this

Hi, M-Audio support here! Yes, AIR|HUB is suitable for this purpose!

Is this compatible with a micro korg synthesizer

Hi, M-Audio support here! Whilst our AIR|HUB features USB MIDI inputs; the MicroKorg uses 5-Pin MIDI outputs. We recommend using our AIR 192|6 which features a 5-Pin MIDI input and will be suitable for use with your MicroKorg! You can also capture the MicroKorg's inbuilt sounds with our AIR 192|6!
