This shaver was easy to use, I thought it took no more time than an electric shaver tool as well as the results were as expected (if not better than expected) across several different garments. I am happy with this purchase.

This little gadget is one of the best items I have ever bought, and I’ve been shopping on Amazon for years. The Gleener doesn’t need batteries - there are three different interchangeable heads that are used for different materials. This makes a pilled sweater or pants look brand new. Brush it over the pilled area and like magic the pills disappear. It has saved many sweaters from the rubbish.

I used a metal lint roller to get all the car hair off my couch. As you can see, that caused a lot of pulling/fray on the couch. I bought this to shave off the extra fabric. I used it on the left hand side of the couch and can see a huge difference. I completed the whole chaise and looks a lot better. However, there is still some fray that I can't seem to get off. Overall, great product and will continue to use.

I love this thing! I’m so impressed with it. It only takes seconds and does a fabulous job without tearing up the knitwear. My daughter just bought this sweater but didn’t know to turn the sweater inside out before putting it in the washer and to only have it in the dryer for a few minutes before laying it out to dry. The pilling was daunting to deal with by hand. So I bought this Gleener. In less than 5 minutes the sweater is good to go again. The lint catcher on the other end is the finishing touch and perfect. I had already done the front and was so happy with it that I paused to take a picture of the back so you can see before and after.

Bought this on a recommendation from my mom who heard me griping about using my small handheld battery operated shaver on blankets that were pilling badly in the wash. She gushed over how amazing this product was and how much faster it worked than the average battery operated shavers. Since it seems all clothing is made from polyester these days, and good quality is a thing of the past, I’m constantly shaving and lint rolling balls of fuzz from clothes and blankets. So I was excited to have a faster way to do it. Well, this product sure did disappoint. It caused more problems than a battery operated shaver because as balls attach to the thin side, they quickly fall off again, thus re-sticking to your clothes and creating MORE WORK FOR YOU! To prevent this you have to keep stopping to try and remove the smallest amount of buildup on the thin edge, which again, is MORE time consuming than traditional shavers. So I tried just using the lint brush edge, but same goes for this. It does work great AT FIRST, but as soon as there is a layer of lint attached to the head, it starts leaving some of that lint behind when you touch the head to a new spot to clear a line of lint from your item. To make things worse, you need to use the thin edge “blade” to clean the lint brush of all lint. And be prepared to do this several times in the course of cleaning just ONE item. In doing so, I quickly noticed the sandpaper-like material that covered the thin edge was already starting to wear off! And I had only used it for less than one day! I’ve now used this “medium” width thin edge a handful of times and— as the picture shows— the black covering that is meant to catch the pilling is almost completely worn off. Talk about poor quality ... and the reason for my 3 star rating. I’d like to rate it less cause it’s so time consuming to use, but when it does work, it removes lint well. But who has time to waste doing it the old fashion way when u can do it in half the time and with a lot less headaches using a better product than this? I know I surely don’t.

I have purchased 3 battery operated commercial lint rollers and none of them work. As a matter of fact 2 broke within the first attempt to use. We have horrible lint balls on our couch in our beach condo. After the first rental season it looked terrible from lint balls. I purchased this item as 1 last attempt before I called a professional. Within the first attempt this tool cleaned off the lint and it looks new! The product is easy to use and the accessories just pull the lint right off! I thought this is going to take for ever- 20 mins invested and we are done! Off to enjoy some fun in the sun!

Beware, this manufacture is terrible and so is their refund policy. I purchased my item and am not able to process a refund. Amazon is making me contact manufacture and when I do call, I am directed to voicemail instead of a live customer representative. Company is utterly awful and I cannot express my frustration enough. The experience has been nothing short of infuriating and I am forced to write this review to warn other shoppers so they can avoid what I am currently going through. The service and product is completely unacceptable and lacks basic courtesy to their customers to return prorducts that do not meet their needs or expectations. The product is useless and does not work as advertised. Product does not remove lint or fuzz like described. We tried the different attachments and none of them wouild work even for light fabric such as cotton.

I promise I'm a real person with lots of real reviews on Amazon, but this product UTTERLY blew my mind! What a genius design! Wow! As a test, I bought the little round one with the fan (not from Amazon) - it was utterly useless. I bought the blue comb style set - one of them broke within seconds (using lightly) and the other one really didn't work and kept snagging three different sweaters with different yarn weights. Last, I used this Gleener thing. It's a little weird to hold because it has some big black lint remover on one end, but other than that, it is ASTONISHING! My most favorite sweater wasn't able to be worn out of the house for years - it's not perfect now, but this thing reversed its aged appearance by easily 10 years. As for my "good" sweaters, the blade is actually some kind of little rough thing, sort of like a pumice stone thing, in 3 different sizes. On my 11 sweaters that needed intervention, sizes 1 and 2 worked perfectly. Size 3, the smallest, really had no good effect, but that was a polyester light knit sweater. Everything else looks literally almost like new! And it goes WAY faster than the other 2 types I tried. This is as close to perfect as it's going to get for sweater shavers! Three cheers for whomever invented this clever tool. And thank you for saving my favorite sweater.

So good, I bought two more to gift a couple of friends.

This works much better than expected. I previously has a small battery operated fabric shaver that was great when it worked but it broke only after a few uses so I wanted something that might last a bit longer. I thought this would be really fiddly and hard to use but it's not, I ran it over a medium thickness jumper that was quite bobbled and it's like new! I've only used one head so far (edge 2) and the only downside is its quite difficult to remove the fluff without catching yourself on the "blade" (similar to diamond edge sandpaper), unless I'm missing something. Really lightweight when using and the lint brush works well for going over the fabric once debobbled. Would recommend.
