Air Purifier for Home Pets, Large Room Bedroom, AHAM VERIFIDE

I have been using an Allen air purifier from Amazon for 3 yrs. It did the job, nicely. This yr, my allergies have been extreme & the Allen wasnt doing the job, even with a new filter. I decided to try this Levoit Air Purifier because of the 5 layer filter. It arrived quickly & was easy to set up - just remove the plastic around the filter & plug it in. The results were amazing. The air was noticeably fresher after the first hour. It ran all night on “hi” & when I woke up my nose was not congested & my eyes were not itchy. Amazing. The air in my apartment feels clean & smells fresh. After that, I can run it on “low” to maintain the clean air quality. When I go out on the patio to garden, I wear a mask to limit my exposure to allergens then run my Levoit on “hi” for @ an hr when I come in. This unit pulls the air in thru the sides (360 degrees) thru the 5 layer filter, then pushes the cleaned air out thru the top. This design circulates a lot of air quickly & also gives a cooling effect. The noise level is quieter than the Allen, even on high. The 1 thing that is missing is a handle or carry slot. It’s a heavy, short, round unit & not easy for me to pick up and move, without some type of handle. All in all, I love it. Will be ordering a 2nd one, soon. Great machine at a very competitive price.

I had this out of the box and working within a few minutes. The instruction manual is clear and the controls on the air purifier are clear and easy to use. It looks nice and has a clean look to it. Note: The instruction book says it should be situated 15 inches from anything (like a wall) on all sides. I didn't see that anywhere in the listing and I had planned on setting it in a corner so I had to rethink its placement a bit. It's probably more of an efficiency thing than an absolute as the intake for the air is all around the lower part of the unit and the air exits out the top but you will need to give it space to work effectively. The same company makes non-round units that can probably sit next to a wall if this setup doesn't work for you. There are three fan settings. On the lowest, it is peaceful and quiet. It's not silent, but like a very soft white noise machine. I get bothered by noise and this doesn't bother me. The highest setting is somewhat loud but the great thing is, you can set the timer on it and just have it do the high setting for a short time (like two hours) to get the room air circulating and cleaner. Then it can cut back to the quiet level. I used a very simple sound meter on my phone to measure volume and standing right next to the unit I got about 34 dB (decibels) at low level fan, 44 dB at medium level, and 54 dB at high level. For reference, a whisper is about 30 db and an average conversation is about 60 dB unless you are particularly expressive. Overall I'm happy with it and it has received good reviews as a less expensive option that is still very effective. I'm using it for our second, small room which functions as an office...and as the kitty litter room. I can turn it on high when the kitties are visiting their bathroom in the morning and partying in the dust, and then turn it down for the day while we are working and it's a soothing low level background sound. I have two litter boxes so we'll see how it does over the next couple of months but so far I am very happy. It really does look nice in the space and will make the air healthier for all of us.

I love this purifier! It’s very effective, especially if you have a cat. I place it in a room where the litter box is at and takes away the smell in a few minutes, however it might depend on how strong the smell is. The quiet operation is works, you can still hear the fan however not as much. The lighting doesn’t bother much since it’s not so bright. Overall, I love this air purifier and definitely recommend if you have pets.

Seems to do what it’s supposed to do. I do like this brand, I have a few air purifiers by them. The only annoying thing about this one in particular is that it makes a squeaky noise when on. It’s very noticeable. I probably wouldn’t purchase this one again.

I've had this Levoit Air Purifier since June 2021and I love it! It has been worth every cent. It sits on my nightstand and runs 24/7. I usually have it set for Night mode but with the light off. When I clean the room, (dust, sweep or change the sheets) I increase the fan strength to catch the dust and dander that gets stirred up. I have two dogs and live in an area with a lot of pollen. It has made such an incredible difference in my allergy symptoms. You can see the difference between the new filter and the old.

I have been using this purifier for four months in the master bedroom of a house with two giant dogs. The dog blankets and bedding in the bedroom absorb their smell and I wanted something to eliminate that big dog musty odor. There is absolutely a noticeable difference when the purifier is running which is at least 50% of every day. It has made a big difference for us and was at a good price point without breaking the bank. The directions tell you to clean the outside of the machine every 3 months (I use the vacuum attachment) and replace the filter every 6-8 months. Well I replaced the first filter after four months and it was caked with gunk that used to be floating in our air. Disgusting. It was extremely simple to remove the old filter and pop in a new one and there is no debris left in the machine itself. Inside still looks pristine. The noise level is that of a ceiling fan and at night it is calming and lulls us to sleep. Make sure you keep in mind that the filters are on the pricey side (approximately $35) but it is worth it for us to not smell our fur babies in the house. February 2024 Update - it’s 3.5 years later and the purifier is still going strong. I highly recommend this brand and have bought several other versions for the rest of the house. We have a larger smart purifier for the living area which is very fancy and a second size like this in a guest bedroom. We even bought a fourth one for our son’s apartment when he moved out on his own. It continues to work exactly as it did on day one and helps so much with the big dog odor. Love this product and will never be without it!

This air purifier arrived today. It was super easy setup, incredibly quiet, and it's clear this actually works!! After about 15 minutes of it being on, I could tell the dust in my room was moving (from my cats, I vacuum daily but it never seems enough). My nose burned a bit from that but within 45 minutes of it on high/level 3, my room felt so might lighter and the air was way cleaner!! I was so shocked it made such a huge difference. So far I've had the air purifier on for about 3 hours, and it's like an entirely different room of air quality. The touch controls work super well, and I was genuinely so surprised at how quiet it was. For people concerned with noise levels and who read noise complaints on this, I'm 99.9% sure those people complaining took off the top plastic and not the plastic from the filter (which yes it shows on the quick guide to do so but it can be easily overlooked, as I did for about 5 minutes). You have to just pop open the base of the air purifier and remove the filter from the plastic cover. If you don't, this obviously creates a major safety hazard, BUT THE FAN WILL BE SUPER LOUD IF YOU DON'T REMOVE THAT PLASTIC. It was so loud I was like uhmmm this doesn't seem quite right based on positive customer reviews. Then I took a look at the instructions again and saw I missed a piece of plastic internally. The tricky part about that is that there isn't a crinkling sound if the internal plastic isn't removed, the fan just blows very loud on the different levels...so it will look like it's working and not actually be. I have amazing hearing, so the fact that it didn't make a lot of noise and only made the fan louder says something about the device quality. Obviously took the plastic off, and it has been OUTSTANDING. If noise is your concern, just make sure you remove two pieces of plastic when you unbox it, & you'll be golden. Love this air purifier already. Will update if there are any issues.

If you clean out your kitty litter boxes at least every other day, this does the rest! I have several rescues so I have like 6 litter boxes total and they are all in closets, but you could still smell a little bit of the litter in hallways or downstairs and that would drive me nuts. I bought four of these and it has absolutely changed the game!!! I never do these reviews, but I had to do this one. Amazing. Buy this asap!

Ho due gatti e il mio compagno ne è allergico, quindi abbiamo acquistato questo prodotto per ridurre la quantità di pelo e vari residui che rimangono per casa. Facendolo andare due ore al mattino e due ore tardo pomeriggio al livello minimo, lui ha smesso completamente di starnutire! Davvero ottimo prodotto...non è bellissimo esteticamente, ma è piccolino, quindi si riesce a mettere anche in angoli nascosti. Il rumore non è pochissimo, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena...per altro c'è anche la modalità notturna. 5 stelle piene, veramente consigliato

猫３匹飼ってますがトイレ横にと購入 臭いが気にならなくなりました 運転時の音はまぁまぁします 寝室では気になるかもしれません 動画は使用1週間間後の状態です 細かいホコリなどは中のフィルターでしっかりキャッチしてくれてる事が感じられます 猫の毛は外側の吸い込み穴でしっかりキャッチしていて臭い対策として購入しましたが お掃除も楽だし安いしいい仕事してくれるので再購入しようと思います
