Good quality. A little dry but workable

I bought this as a gift to give my husband for pen/pencil set blanks. It offers a nice variety of wood for his projects. He's also able to cut the blanks to size the block for bottle stopper tops, which makes a nice look when he carves into shape on his lathe.

These are very beautiful pieces. I wish they had been big enough for me to make rings from, so I don't know what I'll use them for now, but man they are lovely.
