Sizzix 658240 Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die, Brick Wall by Tim Holtz, Multicolor

I love this classic die. Just know that you WILL NEED the extra long cutting plates to use this. I love how versatile this has actually become for me. I've used it in many different ways. The only thinkg I don't like is that each little brick cuts out separately, so you have to learn a trick to keep them all in place... but it really does make the end result look pretty cool.

I'm glad I have it BUT... the problem is that what you end up with is a grid of "martor" that is higher than the bricks and that isn't realistic enough for me...I was very bummed out by that but I figured a work around. I cut the brick grid out of heavy cardstock (a Lean Cuisine box actually) then used that as a template to spread dimensional paste over, now my bricks stand out. A lot of work/time added and I'm not too certain how often I will use it because of that.

Tim Holtz is my favorite craft designer. Love the uniqueness of his items. Works great in both my Cuttlebug & EBosser machine ad the detail is NICE!

I can hardly wait to start a few of my scrapbook projects with this nice addition to my die collection

Very disappointing. Cuts very badly indeed, even when using paper.

J'ai utilisé ce grand die (30 cm de long !) avec ma Big Shot (machine de découpes) et le résultat est vraiment génial ! Petit détail, je n'avais pas les plaques de découpes XXL (juste les normales fournies à l'achat) et bien sachez que l'on peut quand même utiliser ces dies longs : la découpe ne sera que de la longueur de la plaque, c'est tout ! Comme je fais de la carterie et non du scrap, cela me suffit bien... Effet mur en petites briques ; Génial !

Je le cherchais depuis un bout de temps - Pas déçue du tout, il est tout en finesse. Je ne regrette pas mon achat !
