Ultimate Flat Focus Tool Silver

I love how lightweight this tool is compared to its brother and a standard C-Wrench. It takes a little getting used to "what fits where" but it does the job most of the time! There's always that one wing nut tucked into a spot that's hard to get regardless of the tool... But that's more of a human error than a tool error!

If you're tired of constantly monkeying around with a C-wrench while you're on the top of a ladder then this is the product for you. I coupled this with a Key-Bak retractable key caddy with a 48" kevlar retractable cord. This has saved me so much time! You get into position, and the tool is right there and ready to use! No more loosening and tightening your wrench over and over ust to get the size you need. At most, I flip the tool end for end and keep going. Having it retractable and on my hip is by far the way to go with this thing. I have a proscenium theatre with no fly space, so all my electrics (except the mid-house) are dead hung. This tool makes a focus (parnells, source 4's, and a couple of zooms) go so much faster. The best part is how lite it is. Even a 6" Crescent with a wide mouth (which you'd need to get all the sizes this tool gets) is heavier. The thin profile allows it to get into closed off yokes but is wide enough that it's not slipping off all the time like the Porter Cable router wrenches.

This is the best lighting tool I've ever owned! I used to carry a "c-wrench" which is great for just about everything and is still a staple in my work tool bag (that I keep on the floor). But, this is the one that stays in my pocket on a daily basis now. Faster than the "c-wrench" on a ladder and, when I'm in a ceiling or on some truss, this is my go to tool now. Though it doesn't fit some moving light fixture wing nuts; using the flat side, I can still use it to apply some extra leverage to the side of a wing nut and get just what I need without breaking the wings off. If it had one more hole for a truss bolt, I could lose my open end truss tool and just carry this and a ratchet and I'd be done for 90% of what I need daily... Pin tools and bulb testers I typically use on the ground at working height and so I don't carry these up high. This all adds up to less stuff that can fall and lighter pockets when working up high. At this price, nothing compares!!!

This tool is AMAZING!!!!! They are so awesome they have a tendency to grow legs and walk away tho so make sure you hold on to it before someone takes it. Need to buy another one...
