This expansion pack to Everdell is awesome! It has taken the experience to a new level. You can now collect more resources and win extra points at the end of the game. I like the idea of the critters having superpowers. It adds to the fun of the game and introduces a new strategic element. By itself, Everdell is great, but this adds to the experience.

The expansion adds enough new concepts to compensate for more players but still stays true to the original enough that the base mechanics aren't lost where you feel like its new game when you go back to the original.

If you have the base game this expansion definitely helps aid in the fluidity of the original game. Have not played it more than 3 players with the expansion though.

You will need the base game in order to play this. My 10 year old daughter asked for this for Christmas, as we have the base game, and loves it. This game takes some time to understand how to play, and you will need to block out a morning or afternoon, but it’s fun.

It says it on the tin, I love all of the Everdell expansions, but this one didn't add very much to the overall experience. At that consideration, I feel like it should be cheaper, at a 20 dollar price cut. I understand if it's for the sake of the artists and designers that it is the price it is, though, because it's all adorable. Overtime, I feel like it will pay for itself, and less does make it easier to learn, but I was a tad disappointed. Otherwise, it just gave me a bigger desire to expand the set further, Everdell may very well be my favorite board game of all time.

The game was open and it didn't have all the pieces described in the package content. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

We own the main game and got this is our first expansion. The quality is good (artwork, pieces etc) but it doesn't add enough to the game to be worth £40. It feels to me like half that price would be fairer. Especially as you get no new cards for the deck and the additions are fairly lightweight. It's put us off buying further expansions for Everdell 😟

Ordered as a gift, and after not receiving the product for 3 weeks, I contacted the seller. Without my knowledge the product had been returned and the seller demanded I pay them the fee to resell it. After I paid the fee (half the item’s sale cost!) and they verifying my address was a correct they resent the package. However it turns out not once but twice they sent the product to the wrong address (despite verifying my address). Contacting the delivery service I was able to reroute the package to the intended address, where the product was greatly enjoyed. However the customer service was abysmal and I would highly recommend to order the product from another seller, even if the sale price is higher just to avoid the headaches caused by docmagic’s incompetence. As for the expansion itself, was greatly enjoyed, 4/5.

Nella confezione di utile per il gioco c'è troppo poco : alcune carte radura aggiuntive e carte eventi speciali più facili da realizzare, sommate a due eventi base in più. A questo si aggiungono due razze di lavoratori in legno ( rane e Uccelli ). Poi ci sono delle carte che conferiscono abilità speciali a ogni tipo di animaletti lavoratori che ho trovato sbilancino troppo il gioco, che quindi non uso più. Per finire delle plance in cartone che dovrebbero servire a tenerci sopra risorse e monete che servono solo di intralcio al gioco e rubano spazio ( almeno ci avessero messo dei contenitori in plastica sarebbero stati più funzionali). Ah, visto che ci sono le regole per 5 o più giocatori , avrei sperato che per ovviare all' esaurimento delle carte di riserva del mazzo e la conseguente incetta di quelle di maggior valore, avessero aggiunto qualche carta in più. In conclusione il prezzo di vendita è esagerato : non dovrebbe superare i 20 euro.

Expensive price but low availability so ordered. Good packaging, and again very fast delivery. Product as expected.
