So good I bought 2! Cheap and cheerful no fuss battery charger for daily use.
I was looking for a direct plug in charger for my many rechargeable batteries after my Energizer multi purpose charger had a problem with a spring loaded clip snapping. This meant that the overall efficiency was drastically lowered, as paired batteries would stop charging due to poor or no contact. It also made me realise that I didn't want or need a costly replacement. The LLOYTRON ticks all the boxes for my needs. No moving parts - check. No cables trailing - check. No complicated or unnecessary indicators - check. It simply plugs into a handy plug point, pop your batteries in and switch it on. It's what I call a fire-and-forget piece of kit - simply put the batteries in and leave it to do it's thing - it takes AA, AAA and PP3s- although I only use it for AAs, and AAAs to keep my kids Kidizoom Duos and Handheld Game Consoles on the go. It's on pretty much 24/7 as I am working to a strict timetable keeping my kids 8 sets of batteries going day in day out. In terms of construction the LLOYTRON is a very light plastic but it doesn't get hot in any way that would cause me concern. What might put people off is that it mentions charging times and battery outputs. I would say not to worry too much about that, as it has numerous protection circuits to prevent battery damage. If your technically competent you can of course work out charging times, but I've not felt the need. There are 2 red indicators, one for each pair of AAs, AAAs or individual PP3s on charge. These lights go out when charging is complete though. I would follow the advice on the packaging and not leave batteries in for excessive amounts of time. For me that means each set of batteries is swapped out the charger every morning, or evening if they've been put in earlier in the day. I was fortunate to only pay £7.35 including delivery which is an absolute bargain. As I write this the price has changed slightly and is still only £8.35 including delivery. Still a great price. If you want a no fuss, no frills, easy to use charger for your rechargeable batteries then the LLOYTRON comes highly recommended. Why pay more? 5* UPDATE: 1st June 2020 - I've been doing so much battery charging in recent weeks that I've decided it would be beneficial to buy a 2nd LLOYTRON charger. This was only £7.19 delivered so represents great convenience and value for money. These 2 chargers will easily allow me to keep on top of the multiple charging needs for my son and daughter - remote control cars, handheld games consoles, kidizoom duos as well as my HTPC remotes, keyboards and wireless mice. That makes life a lot easier! Update: 28th June 2020- I've uploaded a photo of my 2 chargers, working in situ - to illustrate how handy I've found them to be. Hope this helps. The cheapest in it's range is not always bad
This charger was the cheapest I could find for 9V batteries but it does also the A... series. It works fine although it takes many hours to charge the 9V batteries- best is overnight. It has an LED on as long as it charges and then switches the LED off. Good to have this control.

Slow
Described as a fast charger but up to 17 hours doesn't strike me as fast. It seems very flimsy and the AAA batteries really have to be forced in or they fall out. No indication when the batteries are charged. It's going back - obviously you get what you pay for but this isn't very good at all.

Bad batch or bad luck
Review on silver versions Quality of this charger has dropped I had one over a year ago then the right side failed, recently i ordered another one to replace it. it didn’t work then they sent me a another replacement that it didn’t work and again another one and it fail as well so now I have 3 silver versions and one black sitting there. I use up to 3-4 9v batteries to power a tens machine on my spine. They did kindly refund me each time and give me the charger at no cost but it’s not charging the batteries. The led red lights will come on dimmed not fully bright red as it should and within 15-20mins the lights goes out. 9v batteries take 7-9 hours to charge I’m now currently using the first charger I purchased way back but it only charges on the left hand side so it takes awhile to charge 4-5 9v batteries on one side. Not sure if they got a faulty batch from China or it’s just my luck.

Recharge your batteries.
This charger has a light weight plastic body so not very strong so be careful where you plug it in so it doesn’t get knocked as I fear it will be liable to being damaged breaking the body or bending or snapping the pins when plugged in. If this happens isolate the socket before removing the charger from the socket. Update! After some months use it is not charging batteries when they are first plugged in. I have to unplug the charger remove the batteries and then plug it back in so I have got a more expensive charger.

Bis heute leider nicht getestet. Kaum auf ersten Blick ersichtlich, dass Gerät in keine EU-Steckdose passt.

After using it only once, no more LED light indication for both LED's. However, I could still measure a voltage at the contacts with the multimeter.
