Can you see what’s in the package upon delivery?

Yes but I believe you can ask for it to be put in a box if it is a gift so the person won’t see what it is. Mine was not a gift so it didn’t matter to me. I would suggest buying the carrying bag for it. Great way to store it if you take it apart or take it with you to the park, etc.

What is the shipping weight. ?

I dnt know the exact weight maybe 15LBS as a female I was able to bring it in the crib and put it together my self . More bulky than heavy
