Rain Poncho Jacket Coat Hooded Zipper Style for Women/Men/Adult with Pocket

I'm giving 5 stars even though this poncho won't work for what I bought it for, which is a cruise to Alaska. However, this $10 poncho is great for rainy summer days, when you are wearing short sleeves or tank tops. This poncho has one size arm length, so on me, a 5'4", 200 lb person, this one comes right above my wrist, and the rubber band to put on your finger is too far away for me to use. My arm span from finger tip to finger tip is 62 inches. From wrist to wrist is 51". But, I love the front opening zipper for removing the wet poncho without saturating everything in a 10 foot radius when you take it off. I also prefer the zipper option to pulling a poncho on over my head - when it gets stuck, I have a moment of panic in all that plastic. The zipper also allows for more effective heat release than undoing all the snaps down the sides. The zippered pocket for holding a couple small items, or a phone is spectacular. The light green poncho is semi-transparent, i.e. I could read the words on my tee through it. The hood closes nicely around my head, so it won't blow off easily. I also appreciate there are no shoulder seams on this poncho. A couple years ago I bought a full length, fully lined rain jacket and anything above a light rain would penetrate the shoulder seams and leave my clothing soaked. The main drawbacks for me, are 1) I am looking for a poncho that I can wear a long sleeve sweatshirt under, and the sleeves will stay dry in colder/cooler weather; and 2) the hood is short on me - I wear glasses and this hood will not keep rain off my face, which can be mediated by wearing a ball cap underneath, but worth noting for my fellow spec wearers. This will be the perfect poncho for walking my pooch in the summer rains, but not the one I will take to Alaska.

I bought this poncho for my boyfriend because it's supposed to rain at an outdoor concert we're attending this weekend. He's approximately 5'11", typically wears a size 2XL-3XL shirt, and hates standard sized ponchos because they're too tight. This one is perfect! He said it's a little big, but that's better for rainy-day layering. The poncho is extremely durable and looks like it'll hold up well. It has a zipper closure in the front and snaps down the sides, which are great for customizing how tight the arms are. Bonus: it was super easy to fold up and put back in its pouch after we took it out. Seriously. This is worth every penny!

I'm an average build 5'10 male, and the overall fit is nice but the sleeves on this is too short. Might be harder to tell from the picture, but if I were to wear this on a rainy day, at least half of my forearm would be drenched. Would likely be fine for people < 5'6", but otherwise you'll likely encounter similar issues. The color is pretty accurate to the picture and it comes with a nice bag and a carabeaner. Zipper on the poncho also worked fine. Docking a star because it's not truly a one size fits all, but if you are in the targeted size range, it's a pretty nice poncho.

I have this rain poncho in my car for those showers that come out of nowhere. I’m a 5’10” woman so I’m used to sleeves being too short. Pretty much every ‘long sleeve’ is a 3/4 sleeve on me but the sleeves on this poncho hit me almost at the elbows. I was helping out on the side of the highway at an accident so the too short sleeves helped me render aid but it would annoy me in any other situation. I stayed dry in the downpour, the hood stayed in place with the drawstrings, and blood/mud didn’t stick. I brought the poncho home rinsed it off with the garden hose and hung up to dry.

This rain poncho is very cute. There is a quality feel to the fabric. All the stitching was well done. There are snaps along the arms to keep it from blowing off and there are thumb straps. However those straps were too short for me to use. As for the hood, it is so small that the front of my hair and face will be totally exposed to any rain. It is tight on the sides and very unflattering to wear. It has a drawstring on the hood, but that has no purpose with the hood being so small. The hood should be much larger to fully cover your head and then using the drawstring you would be able to cinch it down as needed. I now need to purchase a rain hat.

utilisé en période de pluie tropicale en indonésie: je suis restée au sec. les petits elastiques pour mettre le pouce sont très pratiques pour retenir la cape sur sois quand il y a du vent (en scooter par exemple)

I love that it has snaps to close the sides.
