This is the best budget keyboard you'll find on the market and with the constant 15% off deals it makes it very hard to want to try anything else.[FIRST IMPRESSIONS]The unboxing is simple and well protected with foam corners. In the box you will receive a 6ft usb type c charging cable, usb wireless receiver, keycap puller and a user manual. when you first take the keyboard out you'll notice it has a good heft to it and doesn't feel cheap or light it feels very premium. Setting it up was super easy and quick all you have to do is plug in the wireless usb receiver and turn on the switch on the bottom of the keyboard then press Fn + p to pair and your done.[FEATURES]some of my favorite features of this keyboard is the charging system because when its about to go dead the space bar will flash red and while using it wirelessly it allows me to use the charging cable to charge it while simultaneously using it and it doesn't take long thanks to the usb type c connection. this keyboards battery life is amazing because of its energy saving feature which auto shuts off when the keyboard is inactive for one minute and 25 seconds extending the battery life, I use it everyday and barely have to charge it. this keyboard also features white backlit lighting that is plenty bright with the white keyboard color at night it can also be turned on and off.[OVERALL]This is a very solid keyboard and in my 4 months of use I haven't had a single problem and for the those that worry about input lag to be honest whether you use it wired or wireless you won't be able to tell the difference I personally always use it wirelessly. I mainly use this keyboard to play games and its super comfortable you wont be disappointed with the Ergonomics of this keyboard I currently own 2 TKL02WS so far and I plan to buy 2 VM02WS and try the TKL61WS.

Got this during Christmas for $35. Great ten-keyless for the price. The brown clones feel okay, but wish they had a little more tactile feel. I’m used to blues though so maybe I’m just associating the feel with the sound.Backlight is good and being able to use it both in wired and wireless mode is nice. Charge lasts maybe two weeks; that’s without ever turning it off, just letting it go to sleep on its own, with about 2 hours of use a day on average.Overall, I’m satisfied with this keyboard. Wanted a cheap, wireless, mechanical tkl, and that’s what I got.

First things first, I always consider the price in terms of what I am paying for a given product in relation to the overall value/rating. At the current price of $48.99, this is probably the best keyboard you will get in this price range. The only thing that it doesn’t have is RGB lighting so this may not suit everyone. For me, the basic white LED lighting is perfect. The RK987 and Velocifire TKL02WS are essentially the same keyboard except the RK987 uses Blue-Tooth vs 2.4GHZ wireless for the TKL02WS.Please Note:I specifically purchased this keyboard with the intent of modding and lubing it so with that being said let’s get to it.1. The build quality is excellent. It has a very solid dense feel to the keyboard.2. The wireless connection on this keyboard is rock solid with absolutely no lag or disconnections.3. The White LED lighting has only 2 settings on or off. I like it is simple to use without all the unnecessary disco lighting effects.4. The stock keycaps that come with the keyboard are really nice. They have a nice classy font and the secondary legends are nice and clear as well. Better keycaps than the RK987 which has a gaming font.5. The brown Outemu switches on this keyboard feel really good. Surprisingly, I prefer the Outemu brown switches on this keyboard over the Gateron browns in my Keychron K6.6. The stabilizers are really good with no play in terms of being attached to the keyboard. On a side note the RK987, Durgod K320, and Keychron K6 had loose stabilizers which contributesto the rattling noise when typing. This is easy to remedy but with the TKL02WS it is not necessary so this is one less step when it comes to modding ;-)7. The height on the front of this keyboard is perfect. As a reference, the keycaps are at the same height of the Durgod K320 which is pretty low for a mechanical keyboard. For the money that I paid for this product I'm very satisfied it has exceeded my expectations. The switches feel good, it has thought full shortcuts. It has a nice weight to it, no drivers or software req. Simply plug and play. The design is very clean, however its a little loud for a brown switch but that can be due to the fact it doesnt have sound dampeners adding o-rings should do the trick. I can guarantee you that you will not find a wireless keyboard with this quality for a better price; and the fact that velocifire has a 1year warranty is a nice plus although believe this keyboard will hold up nicely over time. I have not had it long enough to comment on battery life as of yet but from the research that ive done it will last about 3 weeks without the backlight.

For context, I ordered this keyboard as a relatively inexpensive entry into the mechanical keyboard realm. If it weren't for a pretty frustrating issue which I'll mention, I would give it five stars.Aesthetically, everything looks great and the battery life is pretty much fantastic. On a full charge, I can go more than a month with hours of daily usage. The price is solid as well. It's not too heavy, and the build quality seems good.The keys were a little louder than I expected, but adding some O-rings helped mediate that somewhat and it wasn't anything crazy. After about a month of use, though, I noticed something weird going on when gaming, specifically sometimes the W key would need to be held down longer or pressed down all the way to start registering. Over time it got worse and I started noticing it a lot, even in normal typing. Even now, I can press it down past the actuation point for any other key and that key sometimes won't register at all unless I'm sure to bottom it out. I feel like I've seen it start to happen with other keys, too, but I can't reliably reproduce it anywhere else so I could be wrong there. Cleaning out the keys, taking off o-rings, and fully recharging the battery have done nothing. I'm a quick typist, so it's super frustrating to have to go back several times per paragraph to have to deal with that kind of thing on a six month old keyboard.Bottom line: if you don't experience the issue I have, this is a great keyboard at a great price.

I am by no means a keyboard aficionado, but I am incredibly pleased with my purchase. I like the way this keyboard feels under my fingers, and the sound is very pleasant. (I do not use this for gaming - I only use it for typing.) I am impressed with the quality for the price of this nice little board. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple, cost-effective personal brown switch keyboard.I would like it if this had the number pad on the side, but otherwise, it's pretty much perfect. I'm not very worried about that part.

I've been using this keyboard for well over a year now with minimal issues regarding anything like battery life or wireless connectivity. I'm even using it to type this out.- USB-C connection, rechargeable, and you can use it wired if you prefer.- Long battery life, even with lighting enabled. Turning lighting off further extends battery life possibly tenfold. I've recently gone without lighting turned on and have only had to charge it once in the near 1-2 month period with daily use.- The white lighting looks nice, especially with pudding keycaps. Doesn't have RGB lighting, so those wanting that may need to look elsewhere. For those wanting a keyboard with basic lighting and no software required to install, this may be a nice option for you.- A decent gateway to keyboard modding. With its low price and rather simple disassembly, you can tweak this thing to slightly improve its sound or appearance. As stated before, pudding keycaps look nice with the lighting, and you can do the "tape mod" to make it slightly quieter (don't tape over the battery though!). Don't expect hotswap sockets to change out the switches though: they're soldered to the board, meaning you'd be in for a tedious operation to switch them out for something like Gaterons or Cherry.- The OEM switches aren't bad at all. They're equivalent to Cherry MX Browns I believe, so they've got a slight tactile bump when pressed. Despite what the product page may say about them being "linear" switches, they definitely aren't.- Using it wireless, expect some very minor yet hardly noticeable input delay. It's on par with something like a wireless controller would have, so nothing too severe.- If the receiver is far under your desk or tucked in the far recesses of your PC, it may have issues and hold the last input for a second before catching up and performing every single latter input after it regains a stable connection. Basically, you might find yourself stop moving in a game, mash the keys to find out what's happening, then suddenly have your character do everything you just mashed. A bit annoying but solved by just moving the receiver closer using a USB hub or using it wired, Your choice.- It's tenkeyless/lacks a dedicated number pad, and doesn't have a numpad available via FN key like some laptops tend to have. If you need a numpad, perhaps look at a similarly wireless option. Not ideal for someone using, say, Blender 3D or playing Garry's Mod, but again options do exist.Overall, a nice keyboard for the price and size. Takes up significantly less space on my desk than the usual full size keyboard. Fits nicely in most any setup.

It has a good response time. It also has a good battery life. Since the time i charged it when i got it, it hasn't died yet and its been about two weeks. Personally i really like the sound of the keyboard(i got the brown switches). The back light is white but because of the keycaps it has more of a natural lighting type of color. Over all i recommend the keyboard.

It so far has not accrued any grime marks (I clean it weekly). I have the brown switches; the feel of the keys is cheap but consistent (obviously inferior to outemu/cherry).As for battery life: I use it 4-6 hours at least every day (mostly with backlight off) and have charged it twice in the past month.

This medium size keyboard is fine :D The key clicks are lovely and the response is ok. With such an affordable price, what else can you ask for.

Quality corresponds to the price. Its heavy but you can hear the metallic thump when typing. I dont game with this, well very seldom. I use it for work. I just wish it tells you when it needs to be charged, it actually does but its hard to tell. I work 6hrs a day and this runs out of batteries after 2 nights. Not great, not bad either.
