Tasty and reasonably priced. Not too hard, not too soft to a bite. I think it had a little bit more sophisticated taste compare to the brands you buy in the food store.

Great salami at a great price
My husband is in 7th heaven! We haven’t been able to find his favorite salami in the local stores and I just happen to find it on Amazon. The price was really good and the delivery was fast. We’ll be reordering soon!

covered in plastic not penicilium
About me...I have never had Hungarian salami, so I can't confirm if authentic. I only buy excellent quality salamis that have the penicilium mold on it.This product tastes okay, but here is why I did have to knock it off 2 stars.#1: I bought this because I thought it was a salami covered with penicilium mold as the picture made it appear to have the mold on it. I was upset to find that it was plastic. I re-read through the product details on the amazon page and nothing mentioned plastic. The plastic is really hard to remove. I have longer, natural fingernails and I couldn't get under the plastic easily to remove it. It's easiest to remove with the tip of your knife but still not anywhere as easy as a traditional molded salami. Note that I cut my slices and then remove the plastic. I do not just remove the plastic and then keep my salami uncovered/partially uncovered during storage.#2 The flavor is okay. I typically buy high quality salami, this just doesn't compete.

Expected it to be bigger in size but the taste and everything is on point it's not like your hoagie or deli size when sliced they will be about the same as a Ritz cracker.

This is NOT a Hungarian Salami!!!
This is NOT Hungarian Salami at all! It taste like inexpensive salami one can get in the local store! I know how Hungarian Salami tastes because I bought it many times! This salami isn't it at all! I'm very disappointed that they sell it as a real Hungarian Salami! Amazon should not let them sell this inexpensive salami under the name Hungarian Salami!
