Make sure your iron is warm- no steam. Rub the paste over the faceplate and then "iron" over the cloth. Works loke a charm for me. Hope this helps.

How long does cleaner Last? Anyone use a homemade paste with baking soda instead?

Lasts until your iron gets scorched or sticky again🤔I don’t think I’d use baking soda because it’s abrasive

I purchased this for the purpose of removing scum on the bottom of the iron. I don’t think it’ll remove the smell. But this works great!

Can this be used on a rotary ironer plate?

I am not familiar with an rotary ironer plate so I am not sure. I can tell u it worked very well on my regular iron.

Buen producto

Es ideal para limpiar la suela a la plancha roventa deja la superficie limpia de residuos y como nueva. Los trapos se pueden lavar en la lavadora. Es un poco pequeño el tubo de crema me lo esperaba mas grande .

My iron is clean again!

I don't remember what I melted on my iron, but I could not get it off until I bought this product. Read all the instructions and started. The cloths are nice and large and the tube of cleaner will probably last for 4-6 cleanings, at least. The first use did remove some (see the cloth), but I needed to do it again. Not in the instructions, but I ended up folding the cloth over several times so I could lift the iron up and scrub it directly. That is probably why it scrubbed off some of the finish. But I don't care because it's nearly 100% clean. Oh, and make sure not to do the steam part of the instructions over your cutting mat. Derp! I wasn't even thinking, so now a case if Monster is going to fix that boo-boo.

Muy caro

Es un tubito tipo crema que aplicas sale humo y es normal, despues frotas la plancha contra el trapo blanco hay que aplicar fuerza y es repetitivo pero se quitan las manches, yo tengo manchas de almidon pegadas en el metal de la planchay ayuda a removerlo pero es costoso relación a la cantidad de productor que tiene y a las prendas que plancho por semana.

Best Iron Cleaner!!!

This product far exceeded my expectations. I did forget to take a before picture but I ironed nylon lining on a very hot cotton setting ( my error) and it basically covered and stuck to my iron. The Rowena iron cleaning kit made my iron look brand new again. I followed the very easy instructions and was so impressed with the results. Highly recommend!
