We have used this type of hair net for years, for gymnastics and dance. We order the brown, it works on all hair colors, when you stretch it, the color fades away, especially, if you audience/judges are more then a couple feet away. They are more like disposable nets for buns. I have been a dance/gymnastic/theater/cheer mom for over 10 years, and I can say, hair nets after one use gather every piece of lint and hair they come in contact with, even with the best care, they do not look great using again, on brown or darker hair. Un-packaging: (Please see pictures) These hair nets come in little balls, they look like a mess, but they are not. Each net is nicely wrapped over the next, you just have to unwind them. I got a package of 100 nets, there are 10 balls, each with 10 nets inside. We give them to our team gymnasts, so we just take a few and place them in a ziplock for each girl. Addressing other reviews: -These are bun sized hair nets, as stated in the title "100pcs hairnet for bun." They are not intended for the whole head, for restaurant work, for a wig net, or to stay on by themselves. You need to use bobby/bob pins, or another fastening mechanism. -They are not cheaply made, they are for once or twice usage. My purchase was 100 nets for $7.99! What do you expect for less than $0.08 each? -They are not expensive ballet bun hair nets that a professional ballerina would use. But great for gymnastics and dance classes and competitions. As you can see from the pics on my child, the net color really does not show, especially if you are as far as the judges or spectators. (This is the brown color net.) Hope this review helped.

These were smaller than I expected but they stretch pretty well. If you have a large head or really thick long hair they might not work for you. These weren't the old fashioned up over your forehead if desired with plenty of room left hair net for me. I had to pin this on. I think these would be great for buns. I really enjoy the color options. This did what I needed it to do and came off undamaged so can be reused.

If you have a dancer who has multiple shows throughout the year, then you know how many hair nets your dancer will go through. I was tired of paying good money for a couple of nets from our local beauty supply store, but when another dance mom mentioned that she orders in bulk from Amazon I knew that's what I should've been doing all along. I ordered the brown nets which blend in perfectly with her hair. They arrived quickly and were vacuumed packed. I was a little concerned as they appeared to be wadded up, but my daughter hasn't had any issues with them being tangled. She said these nets are well worth the money, well made, and hold up great! My daughter has been dancing for years, so she knows what she likes and what works. She said she'd give them 5 stars for sure!

I got these nets for the first time I had to do my daughter’s hair for dance. They are a lifesaver!! They help hold in all those little pieces of hair that might get loose. The color was great. You can see it in the up close picture, but cannot tell from father away especially on stage. I did not use a by donut because my daughter has a lot of hair, so I just wrapped the net over the bun I formed. I stuck the Bobbi pins right through the next too to secure. The nets seem flimsy, but actually hole up quite nicely. When 50 in the pack it is ok to just use once and throw away though. This greatly reduced the stress of making the perfect dance bun!

I can’t believe I’ve been getting ripped off at the dance stores and getting only 3 nets at a time that were very thin and would break so easily. I felt like I was constantly buying new ones. I could feel instantly that these are thicker and the netting seems tighter. My daughter has fine hair but she has a lot of it, and it’s layered. Layered hair is a nightmare for making a ballet bun. I was able to wrap this around her bun 3 times like with the others, and it kept all of her hair in place perfectly. Plus, the value is insane! I definitely recommend these to any dancers and dance moms out there.

I need these for my daughter's dance recital. I've never had to do a bun before and saw on YouTube that people use a net to tidy the bun up. These come vacuum sealed (as shown in attached pic). As I'm new to doing a bun, I've been practicing. I've used one hairnet multiple times and it's still in good shape. I've attached a pic of my practice bun too, using the hairnet. My daughter has very thick long hair - I put up the bun with U pins also bought on Amazon - check my reviews to see which ones as they are also fantastic.

I bought these for American Girl dolls. They are a perfect size for head and hair.

I am really glad that I bought them. Really good ones. Last long, good size, reusable many times, good colour.

I use these when I'm cooking as I seem to be shedding like an oversize cat these days. They work well to keep long white hairs out of the gravy, which is why I purchased them. They're a bit fragile, and don't respond well to rough treatment, but handled carefully, do the job very well.
