EASY TO CLEAN - GREAT QUALITY JUICE - EASY LEARNING CURVE - AMAZING TASTY ENERGY INDUCING JUICE- 10 YR WARRANTY
THE NUMBER ONE THING YOU WANNA KNOW - BELIEVE ME - IS HOW EASY THIS MACHINE IS TO CLEAN. We bought ours from the amazon seller something Haas who is selling it somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 dollars less than all the other amazon sellers out there. It came in perfect condition on time and right out of the box ( after washing it ) I made some awesome juice. My wife and I have health issues - we believe stem from a genetic mutation called MTHFR and being in a toxic enviornment. In an effort to aid in our over all health efforts we decided to juice. Years ago I spent 700 dollars on a vita mix and I honestly wish I would have bought this instead. It comes with a mincing attachment - which is truly awesome - and can be used to make your own nut butters, deserts and baby food. Baby food! Yeah - so you can rest assured your baby is getting the very best quality nutrition and a great head start with raw, organic and nutritious foods with all the enzymes intact. My wife has had some post pregnancy depression - and fatigue - and within two days it was drastically reduced. I suffer from depression and fatigue - withing moments of drinking some juice I felt so much better. One thing many people don't know is that cooked food is seen as an invader by the immune system. It actually has to go and check out what's going on each time you eat cooked food. The body does not inately recognize cooked food as nourishment. So the more raw food you can ingest the better off and healthier you will be. I love me some grilled and grass fed organic meats - especially lamb - and I eat fairly healthy but eat cooked food about twice a day. Juicing is a very easy way to get more raw nutrients and enzymes ( of which most people are deeply in need of - helps the pancreas ) and it's also very tasty. I can't say much about the juicer but we watched many videos on youtube and did an exhaustive study of many many juicers including the Norwalk - Champion and a few others. One stainless steel model I may have bought was way out of our current price range. For ease of use - and having a reputation for being able to basically juice anything well - we chose the slowstar. I have to say it's great at the harder stuff - but not so great with softer fruits and leafy green veggies. There is a learning curve as with any appliance - and learning when and what to alternate helps get more out of those things that are more difficult to get all the juice from. Another aspect is the warranty - which is really coprehensive - my understanding is that the only parts not covered are those like the filter which will need to be switched out do to wear and tear. This is the equivelant of the tires on your care not being covered in a warranty. I have juiced apples, carrots, oranges, kiwi, bananna, cabbage, celery, bok choy, pear, tangerines, lettuce... ginger and turmeric root. I was impressed with the quality of the juice, the ease of use, and especially ease of clean up. I made three juices my first day. I could not get enough! I was so excited and felt so great I didn't wanna stop. A lot of my friends discouraged me with advice about the cost of organic produce. You do not want to juice conventional produce - ok - for one very good reason. Who wants concentrated pesticides in their juice? Not me. So organic produce is expensive. That's true but if you're smart you can find good deals at places like Costco. We literally bought at least half of our organic produce from Costco - including carrots, apples, and pears. We shopped around and found oranges for a dollar a lb and bought ten lbs. So it can be done. Listen - the RDA for most nutrients is laughably low. 60 mg of vitamin c? Smoking one cigerette will use 50mg! Not that I would but - vitamin c is crucial for great skin, immune health, detoxification, Krebs cycle - so over all energy. We need much more than a mere 60 mg per day. That is ridiculous. Supplements are expensive - often have fillers - ect. Who doesn't like fresh, unpasturized all natural food? When it tastes good - as freshly juiced orange, carrot and apple juice does - it's truly addictive in a good way. Beta Carotene - which is turned into vitamin A. You need that for good healthy lungs - immune health - and unlike synthetic vitamin A - you can't over dose on natural Beta Carotene. In todays nutrient deficient society juicing just makes good sense. It's tasty - it's healthy - great for the whole family - anti disease, and anti-cancer - anti-inflamatory if you focus on more green veggies and less sweet fruits. My family loves the Slowstar because it's easy to use, it's easy to clean, has a great warranty - I mean it takes me longer to cut up the produce than it does to juice or clean. You can spray out most of the pulp and it comes with an awesome cleaning brush with a sort of fish hook on one end and a hard bristly side on the other. Awesome. The main parts that take some effort are the screens and the receptical - and that's maybe five minutes for both. Not a big deal. If you have health issues - or wish to lose weight - or suffer from colds - have circulation issues - if you just want healthier skin - or just to know you're getting the best juice you can afford - I would recomend this juicer. It's easy to clean - the learning curve isn't bad - and the quality of the juice is enough motivation to keep me going back for seconds and sometimes thirds. If there was one thing I really don't like about this product it's the prevelance of plastic throughout the machine. It claims to be virtually BPA free - but most plastics that claim that have been found to be high in estrogenic BPS - which is actually worse for you than BPA... SMH. SO ... unless you can afford the NorWalk or that 1300 dollar stainless steel juicer - I would say this is probably the best all around juicer out there. You won't find a used one for sale anywhere - I mean I tried. So it's five am - and I'm signing off - feel free to hit me up with questions - I'd be happy to answer them. I don't work for anyone and have not been paid to write this review. I love health - and am a health enthusiast. I am 38 and often I'm asked if I am ten to twenty years younger. I believe a lot of the ailments of age are from not investing in health when younger. You don't not put money in a bank and then retire and expect to be financially sound. The same priciple works in the body - you get out what you put in. If you're not happy with your life - I suggest you make a change. Juicing is a good start. Sure it's a few hundred bucks - but that's not bad when you think of how much doctor visits cost. I believe in the future we will make food be our medicine and nutrition will be a much higher priority for the majority of people.

Do your reseach, and dont believe all the negative reviews
This product is amazing! My wife and I watched and read many reviews for many different slow, single auger juicers. This one was the one that fits all of our needs. The box that the product came in had a picture of the older model, without a juice cap and the yellow wiping blades. So I was already getting disappointed. But upon closers inspection of what came in the box, I was able to smile and the frustration level went down. The juicer is the newest model with the juice cap, the upgraded red rubber seal, and the new red wiping blades. Some reviews had said that they really rceived used products from this seller claiming that they ordered new products, others said that the juicer leaked all over their counter, others said that the juicer backed up on them when juicing carrots, other said that the juicer would make weird noises and would not function properly... etc. If I went with those reviews, I would not have purchased this juicer and much less from this seller. I'm here to tell you that the seller did as promised. The juicer is new and it is the upgraded Model. The juicer functions flawlessly. I was able to juice carrots and celery without difficulty, of course I cut the celery down to about 1" pieces. As long as you make sure that the bottom stopper for the pulp is inserted into its place and sealed.. A and the other parts are aligned with the dots and in place, I have not had any problems with leaking or backing up or jamming. This juicer is very quiet. I can juice and talk to my wife at the same time without having to raise my voice too much. The pulp shoot ejects fairly dry pulp. The juice extraction is very good. Many reviews have complained of pulp in the juice.. all vertical, single auger juicers make some pulp. To me it does not make any difference if the juice has pulp or not. But at first, from reviews and what people described the pulp, I thought I was going to be able to taste the chunks of fruit pulp in the juice like you can taste and sometimes chew the pulp of a store bought orange juice with pulp. Instead, the pulp only makes the juice slightly thicker and cream my depending on what you juice. But far from smoothy consistency as some have described. I personally loved it. You cannot taste the pulp at all. Like I said, it only make the juice a tiny little bit thicker. Kind of like comparing consistency of water with whole milk. Other complaints have been that the juicer is hard to clean. Tribest includes a strainer, and a cleaning brush that makes life 100%easier. The brush has bristles that are specially designed to clean any nooks and crevices that the machine has. Especially the little gear at the bottom of the juicing attachment. The end of the brush is especially designed to clean inside the ports and the pulp exit port to take all of the pulp from inside there. Very very nice. The juicer also comes with a mincing attachment. I have not used it yet, but check out John Koller from discount juice.com on YouTube.. he had many many vids on all kinds of different juicers I including juice offs that compare different juicers side by side. He has more I found on the mincing attachment. Conclusion I love the juicer, it has a 10year warranty on all parts and motor, all the updates to be made to the machine will be supplied to you free of charge from the manufacturer. It works well and will help make your life healthier so that you enjoy it more!!

Easy to clean, works great
Overall impression: Having used this juicer nearly everyday for a week now I would buy it again in a heart beat. Though I think it does a better job of juicing fruits than my Omega8006 (which I gifted to my mom) my Omega did a slightly better job on leafy greens. Keep in mind, it will juice leafy's just fine but depeding on the produce type you may need to cut things up into smaller pieces (such as ginger, celery, parsley, or the core of a pineapple). OPERATIONS: DO NOT USE THE PUSHER unlesss the produce isn't going down and even then just push gently a little. Ignoring this could cause an unecessary jam or the produce doesn't get crushed as nicely. This machine does a nice job of self feeding so you should only occaisionally need the pusher anyway. DON'T FORGET TO PUSH THAT RUBBER PIECE BACK IN BEFORE SETTING UP THE MACHINE- unles you want juice coming out of the processing container. PRO TIP: Don't leave the pour cap closed as many users do in youtube videos to mix up the juice. It can affect how well th pulp is ejected. CLEAN UP: I find clean up relatively easy and I'd say the screen takes the longest to clean. To speed that part up first scrub with nylon part of the sponge first then use the brush that came witht he machine. Alternatively you could used a butter knife blade to scrape the screen area then the enclosed brush if needed. I didn't realize it till now but the feed chute comes apart in 2 pieces. That's pretty much it. Oh I also liek that the feed chute is larger than my Omega8006 so there's less cutting of the produce.

I cannot say enough good things about this juicer....
After one solid week of use, I can honestly say this is, by far, the best juicer I've ever owned. Over the years, I've moved on from centrifugal juicers to Tribest's GreenStar 3000, which I've owned for a number of years, and has provided me with exceptional performance, but it has always been lacking in its ease of cleaning. I've typically juiced carrots, apples, and leafy green vegetables, and the GreenStar 3000 handled these fruits and vegetables with no effort. My girlfriend wanted to start drinking more fresh juices, but prefers berries and citrus fruits, which the GreenStar 3000 can accomplish, but the cleanup is exceedingly difficult with a horizontal twin gear juicer, particularly with the fine screen. My only, initial concern with purchasing a vertical, slow juicer was its ability to juice harder vegetables, like carrots, but my trepidation quickly vanished. The Tribest SlowStar SW-2000 makes AMAZING JUICES, and the clean up is so easy, that this machine is perfect for even the novice juicer. Although it can self-feed whole carrots, the dual blade auger makes it SLIGHTLY more prone to binding up the auger, but I've simply started breaking my carrots, by hand, into a few pieces, and the SlowStar SW-2000 masticates them with exceeding efficiency. As for some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews: 1. Pulling out the auger -- The auger can be difficult to remove IF you attempt to do so while the juice housing\auger\wiper unit is still in place on the motor housing. However, if you remove the housing\auger\wiper unit from the motor base first, the auger comes out quite easily. 2. Pulp collects in the hollowed out, underside of the auger -- this appears to be inherent to the auger's design, and has no adverse effect on the machine's performance. Although, I could see excessive pulp collection becoming a problem, if one were to doing a marathon juicing session, along the lines of a couple gallons of juice in one juicing session. 3. The waste chute gets clogged, from time to time -- What I've noticed is that waste chute clogging is often the result of a poorly seated, back pressure insert on the bottom of the juicer housing. If its fully seated, the chute will not clog easily, if at all. By far, the most difficult aspect of cleaning this machine is the waste chute, but the curved end of the cleaning brush makes this task a breeze. The only truly difficult part is removing the back pressure insert, to completely flush out the remaining pulp. If you install it correctly, it's difficult to pull out by hand. However, if you PUSH it out, using the curved end of the cleaning brush, even this part of cleaning the machine is a snap. Cleaning this juicer is ridiculously easy, especially compared to a twin gear juicer -- 2 cups of warm water (x3), passed though the juicer while running, and its ready for disassembly, a quick rinse of the wiper assembly, a light scrub and rinse of the pulp screen, and the removal of the back pressure insert, follow by a thorough rinse of the waste chute and interior of the juice collector. Where some might find this juicer lacking, is the pulp screen. Not because its hard to clean -- it's the easiest juicer screen I've ever had to clean, but this juicer does NOT offer a coarse screen for those who like a fair amount of pulp in their juice. The SlowStar SW-2000 produces a minimal pulp juice, but that may not be your cup of tea.

Very happy with this juicer.
I bought this juicer to replace one of another brand of vertical masticating juicer with which I had problems. I have been using the Tribest for a little while now and I am very happy with it. It's easy to assemble and use. Pretty easy to clean. The filter isn't fun, but that is a feature of most masticating juicers. This one is easier to clean than the previous juicer I was using. The previous juicer will remain unnamed (but it was not Omega) since the company was great to work with and I think the issue was a defective auger. I now keep it as a back up just in case. It's not a bad juicer. The Tribest Slowstar is just better. It has a lot of power. I rarely have feed issues. Occasionally things like leafy greens need a little coaxing down the chute, but that is pretty normal. I do wish this had the 3" feed chute sported by models such as the Kuvings. The previous Kuvings-knock-off that I was using had the wider chute, and that was kind of nice. However, the overall performance of this juicer is so much better that I am not missing the wider chute. I prep troublesome fibrous items like celery and pineapple anyway, so I have not found that I am doing much more additional prep than I was already. I do find that this model has quite a lot of pulp in the juice, and it is thicker pulp than the unnamed model. I believe this is due to a difference in the filters. The Tribest has larger holes at the top of the filter and smaller holes at the bottom. The unnamed brand has only the smaller holes, which I believe does not allow as much, or as large bits, of pulp through. Not a big deal for me because I strain my juice anyway. But it is the one thing that I really wish these vertical machines were better about. Assembly and clean up is easy and reasonably fast. You will, of course, spend time cleaning the filter. It's the gift of juicing. There is a cleaning brush included which gets the job done nicely. One tip I picked up by reading reviews is that if you scrap the pulp on the face of the filter with a fingernail or the non-brush end of the cleaning brush, you can break off some of the pulp and it mostly rinses right out at that point. It will greatly reduce the amount of scrubbing and water involved in getting it clean. I have only used the mincing attachment a couple of times, to make sorbet. It comes out great. After watching some videos online I think I would be inclined to stick to my VitaMix for things such as peanut butter, but the added functionality of the mincer is a nice to have. It is a little bit clunky in terms of design, imho. The Kuvings and some similar vertical machines have a "blank" insert to use instead of the juicing filter, and that is used to make sorbet, etc. That obviously requires less kitchen storage space and monkeying around. This was a non-issue for me since I really don't plan to use the mincer much at all. But something to consider. The attachment is pretty good size, and while smaller than the juicing container and top, it does require a chunk of space to store. This juicer is reasonably quiet. It doesn't make much noise, even with harder veggies like carrots. It does make SOME noise, but it is significantly quieter than the unnamed model. I have had no issues with jamming and it has a LOT of power for feeding in and grinding up pretty much whatever you want to put in it. As with most vertical masticating juicers, it does a great job with mixed fruits and vegetables. It does a decent job with leafy greens, although I do tend to get little bits of leaf in my juice. Again, I strain my juice, so not a problem for me. However, if you do a lot, or only, greens, this is not probably the juicer for you. You might be happier with a horizontal juicer instead, if you do mostly greens. Overall, I think this is a really great juicer. I love using it. I did quite a bit of research and comparison between the Omega Vertical, the Kuvings c7000 and the Tribest as my top three picks, and decided on the Tribest as the best for overall performance and features for price. I have no regrets so far. I juice enough for a couple of days at a time, about 3 times a week. So far this has more than adequately met my needs. Very happy with this juicer.

Just too hard to clean
We have had the SW-2020 for about 18 months. The quality of the juice is very nice with very minimal pulp and good extraction, and it's not too noisy. But we are always loathe to actually use it more than a couple times a month because it is such a pain to clean. We have to make sure to use it when we are both home because it takes two people to open up the top after juicing. Just opening it up is nearly impossible. Then cleaning it thoroughly takes a good 10 minutes more. Also - right from the start of using it, we noticed that anything with any fiber at all - even carrots - will clog up half of the fiber output chute. See my attached photo. So all the fiber comes out from only half the space it should. Sometimes we have to stop half-way thru to thoroughly clean this out, which shouldn't have to happen. And for the last several months it has started leaking juice onto the counter as we use it and fibers fill up the area around the central spindle too. We have carefully checked all the gaskets and seals each time before we use it, and they all are in place and look to be in good condition. Let's just say - if this broke and was no longer useable, this is NOT the brand we'd turn to for a replacement.

Perfect Juicer. Best juicer all-around. Just buy it.
Firstly, this blender is imbued with super high quality. It's like a rolls royce. The motor housing even smells good after you're done using it, like a fine machine. I spent a little time reading the manual. Then I disassembled the parts and put them back together on top of the motor housing. It was easy to do. They have redesigned the two pitchers. They work fine. No spillage of juice. I put in a lot of veggies, alternating leafy veggies with hard veggies. I had NO problems whatsoever. The juicer never jammed or leaked. Feeding in the veggies was relaxing and fun. I think it took me about 10 min to fill an entire pitcher with juice. It was delicious. Taking apart the juicer after using it was super easy. No problems at all. (I believe that the lady who had a hard time removing the auger didn't follow the instructions. You're supposed to remove the feed chute first, then remove the auger housing along with everything in it, THEN remove the auger. It is easy that way. But if you try to remove the auger before the auger housing, then it IS hard and it's wrong.) I cleaned my juicer right after I finished juicing. Everything was super easy & quick to clean except the screen. I spent about 1 or 2 minutes scrubbing the screen with the brush provided. There's no way to make this easier except by buying a juicer without a screen, and the only one like that I know of is the Norwalk Juicer, which costs $2500. The slowstar also comes with a very high quality, strong, durable strainer, which I was very pleased with. However I stopped using it after a couple of times because it's not necessary. I don't mind having a small amount of pulp in my juice. I looked at a lot of different juicers and I watched some videos by a juicing expert, and I read reviews. This juicer is the best all-around juicer. It is very powerful. It makes excellent quality juice. It is easy to clean. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. The company gives good customer support (unlike Omega). This is the one to buy. I am already hooked on juicing!!! After a few times of using it, my skin is already shinier and I feel better.

Great functionality, a lot of work.
A 9-Year Reality Check: I bought this Slowstar back in 2016. It still runs perfectly after nearly a decade, and nothing has broken. If you judge it strictly on how well it crushes, it's a 5-star. Why it lives on my shelf: Despite how good the juice is, I rarely use it anymore. The cleanup is just too much for my daily use and my current kitchen is too small for it to live on the counter. You have to disassemble and wash multiple parts. It's easy to use, but not fast. Honestly, I’ve switched to using a simple manual cast iron juicer and a nut milk bag. It’s faster, easier to wash, gets the job done, takes up less space and is a better value for the money in my opinion. Who is this for? If you don't mind the cleanup and have lots of counter space, this machine is incredible because the yield is high and it can do some pretty cool things with the auger like nice cream and nut butter. Or maybe you'll dehydrate your pulp and use it in recipes. I thought I would, but life is busy and I have to work. If you just want a quick glass of juice? You might find yourself leaving this in a cabinet like I do. Verdict: Amazing build quality that stands the test of time (9 years!), but be realistic about your tolerance for cleaning lots of parts.

Exelente producto

Alles Wunderbar!

Best All Around Cold Press Juicer, Period!!!
Excellent juicer. All the reviews & You tube video's praising this juicer were spot on. Quality construction, powerful & super quiet motor. Best all around cold extracting juicer around. It has a very small footprint & makes exceptional juice (fairly dry pulp too, which is the sign of a quality juicer). Cleanup is very easy, with only a few parts to disassemble & wash. Wash everything quickly after finishing your pressing & cleanup is a snap. Highly recommended..

It is best if you cut product up a little and it ...
I am thrilled with my new juicer. It is best if you cut product up a little and it just feeds itself. I like to drink a green juice with very little fruit, maybe lemons and apples added to a large batch. I do this as a supplement to eating as many vegetables as I have always done. Another great source of fruit is the rind of the pineapple. It is a great source of Bromelain as it is found in the rind of a fresh pineapple. Also this way you don’t have so much waste when peeling the pineapple. I also use the core, just cut it into about 1 inch junks.
