Just had new LVP floors installed and these work well to protect the floor and keep the beds in my guest room from slipping around.

When I bought my bed, I got an excellent mattress and box spring, but skimped on the frame and went home with the standard metal frame, with rolling castors (no locks on the castors). I have hated that stupid frame from Day 1! That was several years ago, and as I write this, I realize how exceptionally lazy I am that it's taken me this long to find a solution! Every night before bed, I have had to fight with my bed to get it to roll back into place against the wall, but without fail, as soon as I lay down, it moves a little or a lot, and pillows invariably fall down between the bed and the wall. Don't even get me started on the results of, shall we say, extracurricular activities. (Sorry Mom.) After months of my boyfriend saying he would figure out a way to deal with the rolling castor/bed issue, I finally got fed up and started researching inexpensive fixes. I came across these Slipstick Castor Grippers on several different websites and ordered them the same day on Amazon. They arrived yesterday and I can already tell they are the answer I have been (lazily) searching for all these years! The bed immediately felt secure, didn't move when we got into bed, and stayed in place throughout the night and even after the ultimate test of the aforementioned extracurriculars (Sorry Mom, I needed to know if they REALLY work!). I will update my review if anything changes, but for now I am thrilled and only left wondering why I didn't order these sooner! Might be the best $9 I've ever spent! UPDATE: After 1 month, I'm even happier than when I first added these under my bed. I can lean against the bed without it sliding away from me, I haven't had to reposition the bed even an inch since I got these - I'm not even sure how easily I could if I tried! The boyfriend even did a running swan dive into bed the other day - the bed didn't move! Seriously one of the best things I have ever purchased. I still can't believe this simple, inexpensive fix had been available all along over the years I spent hating my rolling castor bed frame!

Purchased this product for a queen size bed that sits on hardwood flooring. Works great. Always had problems with the bed moving when getting in and out of it, even with the wheels locked. The routine of moving the bed back against the wall where I wanted it was getting really old, really fast. Put these little guys on and the bed is definitely not going anywhere. In fact, I was so excited to try them out that I didn't have the bed in the exact location I wanted it prior to their installation. After I installed them, I realized I wanted the bed closer to the wall. I thought that with a little brute strength I could move the bed/frame 2 inches. Boy, was I wrong! Had to uninstall all four, move the bed, then reinstall. So word of advice: get the bed where you want it prior to installing because these little things WORK! Really simple to use. Might need two people to install, with one to lift the bed frame off the floor while the other slides the gripper underneath the wheel, but it can definitely be done by just one person. Looks like they will also do a great job of protecting the floors. Would definitely recommend to anyone that has issues with their bed moving on hardwood floors.

Pretty good castors. I like having a castor that actually has the shape of our frame wheels and I can tell that if we had a wooden floor, these castors might also make moving the bed a breeze (I can't swear to that tho because we have carpet). I was disappointed to find that I could not use multiple castors to raise the height of our bed (two together works okay, but three winds up being too unstable). If the company added a ring of adhesive that could be added to a castor to stick two or more together, that might work? Something for them to think about.

Let me first mention that I didn't purchase these to prevent marks on the floor, I purchased them because I was tired of waking in the morning and finding my bed a foot away from the wall. The flooring where I live is linoleum so my bed wheels around the room very easily, even the locks on the casters can't prevent the bed from moving. Any movement while climbing into or out of bed or rolling over or trying to sit up and read would propel my bed from the wall which was BEYOND annoying. I'd wake in the morning to find pillows had fallen on the floor between my bed and the wall. I had tried different caster cups from local stores, all of which were too small for my average sized casters, I made them work in a pinch but they later broke, the grip part would seperate from the wood or the wood would break and I'd be back to square one. Initially they were a cheap quick fix but it didn't last long. I was desperate for a solution and removing my casters wasn't an option. When I saw the reviews for these I knew I had to have them and give them a try. These were MADE for casters they have the indent where the casters go, my first 2 failed sets did not which messed with the middle support on my bed, as they slightly raised the bed. The Slipstick caster cup grippers are WONDERFUL! I got them yesterday and stuck them under the casters, my bed hasn't moved since! I read in bed and climbed in and out and in the morning my bed was still in the same place. I even slept better because I wasn't rolling all over or losing my pillows. I LOVE this product!!!!

My queen size bed easily slides around on my hardwood floor on climbing in and out. I used to have those beige rubber square things with 4 raised sides and corrugated middle that were not only hard to lift the 2 1/4" casters onto, but would easily slip out from under the casters if I moved the bed too abruptly or too far. Basically, they were cheap and ineffective. These "Slipsticks" are excellent. They are plastic or resin or one of those man-made materials, have a lower profile so it's easier to lift the corner of the bed (which, if you have no one to help you, makes a difference!) and slide it under the caster, and the rubber O-ring on the bottom makes them stay put. My bed has remained in place and stable since putting them down, and they're gentle on the hardwood floor. Several weeks and I haven't had to re-position the bed! Yay! They match the color of my hardwood although they don't show under the bedding anyway, but hey, it's one more thing that I like about them. A good product for the purpose!

I have a bed and a desk with casters and I got sick of them moving. I have hardwood floors and the locks on casters are a joke (not to mention the casters will damage hardwood floors). Before these I was using that material for sticking rugs to the floor, cut into pieces and placed under the casters. That worked OK but I found that the bed was still moving over time, and I wasn't having that, so I gave these a try. They're simple enough to install, you can slide them a little bit during setup to get them into the right position. That's something I was worried about but it's not an issue. Once the weight of the furniture is on them, they're not going to move UNLESS you go down to the floor and push these with your hands to slide them into a better position (which would be very much intentional and only done if you WANT them to move). So there are no worries about measuring out the room a hundred times so you can get these into the right place the first time. They're stable and they stay in place, I don't know what else to tell you. They work.

Good traction. That's all they're meant to do, and they do it well.
