Review: The only book you'll ever need - I have to say, I'm a sucker for "lifestyle" books like Kinfolk that have pretty pictures of completely unobtainable life scenarios, but because of how inaccessible the "lifestyle" they're showing tends to be, they usually end up collecting dust on my coffee table. THIS BOOK is so different. Not only are the photos, crafts and ideas beautifully shot (and equally as deserving of a front-and-center coffee table spot), but the author is one of the most honest, articulate and REAL people I've ever encountered in this kind of book. Rather than presenting recipes or crafts that would require a culinary degree or access to obscure ingredients someone like me would never know how to obtain, she lays out easy to follow recipes with helpful hints about where to locate each ingredient or item. It's like your best friend is telling you how to make a delicious lemon doughnut or make a DIY candle (that actually looks cute and not DIY). In addition to all of the amazing recipes she's so well known for, Adrianna also acts as a totally down-to-earth life coach (again, in such a real, humble, human way), presenting the kinds of advice or ideas that actually make you think "I can totally do this!" I bought several of these books to give out as gifts for the holidays this year, and I'll probably end up buying even more. Save your money on Kinfolk and buy this book --- on that will probably end up full of greasy finger marks and paint stains because you'll actually use it! Another win for A Cozy Kitchen! Review: The Epitome of Cozy - This book is all about bringing joy and happiness into your life in all sorts of fun, approachable, and meaningful ways. It is beautifully designed, full of gorgeous photographs, and a unique combination of approachable, yet very creative recipes and craft ideas that anyone can master (I normally don't have the patience for DIY [projects, and I seriously want to make each and every one she shares in this book). It has earned a permanent spot on my desk and bedside table, and it has already been a huge source of inspiration for me! You will love this book.

An excellent compilation of cozy
Adrianna did a great job compiling and editing a "best of" sampling from her blog into this book! I liked my kindle version so much that I'm ready to purchase a hardcopy for my coffee table as well. Though it is filled with beautiful pictures, this isn't a book that will just sit around collecting dust on your table until company comes over. It's filled with a number of great recipe and craft ideas as well as a few tidbits on life in general. It'd make a great gift for your crafty friends too!

The Year of Cozy
I loved this book. It was arranged seasonally but instead of starting in January or in the Spring, she started in the fall which makes perfect sense to me. There are a lot of tasty sounding recipes included in the book, lots of lush photography, and some interesting crafts. If I had to pick one thing that I did not like about the book, it was the author's inclusion of so much stuff for and about her dog. I understand that dog people cannot resist telling you how perfect or zany their dogs are or how you would like their dog, there is a contingent of people out here who are never going to like any dog and don't want to read about them. I would definitely recommend this book to people who desire to live a cozy life.

Decent for the basics
This is a good 'cover all bases' book - It is definitely more recipe heavy than it is crafts and the recipes I would say are pretty tedious (with the exception of just a few) and call for ingredients most folks won't have on hand and don't have the time to just whip up on a week night but there are some dishes I'm excited to try here. The craft ideas, however, are pretty weak (glue rocks to a mirror, spray paint a door mat, make a banner with iron-on letters - not very tasteful or unique ideas unless you're decorating a dorm room) and you'll find MUCH more inspiration on Pinterest but I kind of understand where she's coming from & that the project needed to be wrapped up in a couple pages - so for that it's a good basic lifestyle book to gift to someone who needs a pick-me-up or is just starting to get into cooking or crafts. If you're more advanced in either of those subjects, though, then you'll probably be somewhat bored with this book.. Overall there are pretty pictures, decent inspiration and I do like Adrianna's down to earth, laid back writing style & personality.

Pies, Crafts & adventures, Oh My!
Author: Adrianna Adarme I recently purchased the year of cozy and I am so excited to start my new adventures! This will be a great way to help me be more creative throughout the year. I’m not the most creative person in the world, but I think I can handle the step by step instructions provided by Adrianna . The steps are easy to follow and not very long, which I love! I am also looking forward to bringing my 9-year-old niece along on my adventures and learning how to cook new recipes together! I’m all about spending time together and creating memories! I would love to dive in a little more about the book, but I don’t want to give anything away. I had to flip through the book and see what each month has in store, but some of you may be wanting to be surprised each month. I’m just too curious for surprises!

Cozy-ness Yeah!
I can't lie I purchased this book based solely from the title. Upon reading the title I envisioned being curled up, with a cable knit throw, sipping on a chi tea latte.. and that is how my purchase happened. I have yet to make my dream a reality but I must say it adds great character to my coffee table. It includes various recipes and crafting projects that I truly can't wait to try. The photos are great too. I love that it encourages "cozy-ness" and enjoying the small things... Long story short a great read for someone wanting to add some cozy to their lives...
