They feel better than the newer Cox remote. Review: Just like my original COX Contour Cable Remote, Works for Sony TV. - At first I had trouble getting this remote to control the volume on my TV. I input a lot of number combinations to make the correct connection. But when I went back thru the list again...the first number worked! If you press the "A" button it will let you start you over and give you a chance to put in the make of your TV. Be sure to point the remote directly at the TV when you input the numbers. This remote is exactly like the one that came with my COX Contour Cable box and looks to be brand new...not refurbished. It does everything just like the original.

Works great

Not functional
This remote would NOT pair with my Cox DVR receiver. Total waste of money! And it was not returnable so the money was wasted.

Super Fast Set Up and Does an Excellent Job
Replacing the same model we were worried about setting up this item. It was super easy to program and immediately usable. We bought a rubber cover for it too as the puppy chewed on the last remote in a matter of minutes... this item was affordable, easy to use, and met our expectations.

Have cox contour 2 dvr and this works better than expected. Easy to set up and will work simultaneously with original remote.
