I really liked these glasses. They will stack, but not in a way that can cause them to stick together. I never stack more than one on the other. They have a great feel and are easy to hold. I am sure they will break if dropped, but so far I have not done that. I think you will be pleased. The packing was fantastic and no breakage at all.

I wanted glasses that had three qualities (aside from the ability to hold liquid :) I wanted glasses that could stand up to two teenage boys - my last set of glasses have dwindled in numbers. I wanted glasses that had a great design, easy to hold and not too fussy to be kept on an open shelf. I also wanted glasses that were stackable. These glasses meet the first two qualities remarkably well - they are thick, restaurant-tuff glasses that are easy to hold. The design is simple, classy. As far as their stacking-ability, they do stack, but they don't nest. This isn't all bad - they don't become stuck to each other when stacked out of the dishwasher. I stack these no more than three tall. I'm happy with these glasses, which is a good thing as I'll have them a long time.

Very subtle tint, not nearly as amber as in the photos here. Thicker rim for durability. I expect decades of service. Based on my limited recent research, these are similar in size as a “double old fashioned” glass, which tend to be around 14 oz compared to these 12 ouncers. Regardless, they’re the perfect for cocktails the size I like. My kids will use them as water glasses. I may come back and get the tall “tumbler” size as well.

High quality glasses at a reasonable price would have given a 5 star rating but for the stickers on the bottom of each glass ( had an order of 12 glasses)that took over an hour to totally clean off given the ridiculous amount of adhesive glue from the sticker, is all those stickers necessary?

I have 19 year old versions of these glasses, some of which broke along the way, so I bought more to replace them. The 2013 glasses are exactly the same as the 1994 glasses. They're durable (don't usually break when dropped), very heavy weight, thick throughout and have a classic style. The 12 ounce is great for a glass of straight juice (and wider/lower for kids), the 12 ounce is good for an already cool beverage from the fridge, and the 16 ounce allows room for a drink with ice in it. I also have 20 oz "Iced Tea" sized glasses, which are wonderful, but don't fit in my dish washer well. They're too tall. I Love, love, love 'em! I look forward to another 20+ years of use.

These are sturdy glasses. They are resistant to breakage. The glasses will often bounce instead of breaking when dropped. They are more likely to crack if they are stacked carelessly. If they break, the pieces are usually large and so are easier to pick up safely. The design of the glass also helps eyeball measurements if you free pour.

These are really great glasses, and I've been pleased with both the style and durability. I've been using them for nearly a year now and they still look brand new - they wash easily in the dishwasher. These glasses have substantial weight to them, but remain very comfortable to hold, the shape of the glass makes them easy on the hands - even my 80yo mother loves them! (I was worried they'd be too heavy for her, but she liked them so much I had to order her a set too.) Overall, very happy with these glasses, and highly recommend!

Some of the glasses arrived broken. The box with proper FRAGILE warnings had been put into a normal Amazon box, with no workings. Good product, very bad shipping service from Amazon.
