Wind tested, good for two people.
At the NC beach for a weak. Winds 20 with 30 gusts. Most people were using a shibumi shade. That probably best choice for more than two and if car space saving is a must. The sails take a lot more beach space tho so set them up early. But for two I liked this umbrella. No problem with the winds, and It was not flapping crazy like the shade sails. I did use the sand bag and the little included shovel worked great. Set up was fast, think faster than the sails. Other umbrellas that were out were folding in half, inside out, and I did see one fly off. This umbrella has no tilt, but that can be a week point. Saw another market type umbrella with a tilt that failed from the wind, pin broke and would not lock upright. This umbrella easy to lean for some tilt and sable with the sand bag. I kept on highest setting the whole time, no problem, tho that is only like 5ft off beach. On the one morning with no wind it was just as nice. The sail shades dropping on peoples heads. After a week of abusive winds, up 7 hours a day, no damage or issues. I recommend for two people.

Wind resistant and robust design
After using this umbrella several times at the beach, I am confident that I made the right purchase. I did a lot of research to find an umbrella that was worth the money. I previously had purchased an umbrella that seemed adequate at first, but had clearly been designed to fail early after one season by using cheap materials that wore out quickly. This umbrella is such an upgrade, using higher quality materials and a more robust design. It is particularly effective against wind, which is the characteristic I was primarily searching for. It appears to be intentionally designed to resist wind, much better than similar umbrellas in this price range. The base screws into the sand an adequate depth and is difficult to pull out. There is a locking pin for the intermediate pole, and the fabric is stretched tight and relatively flat, which makes it aerodynamic and wind resistant. The rods are thick and stiff and do not bend in the wind. The only step up from here I think would be a heavy wooden umbrella, which is a nonstarter for carrying to the beach on a regular basis. I ended up getting two of these that were on sale as "like new," which was an excellent decision. This umbrella will last many seasons. It is a tad heavier than the lighter duty ones, but entirely worth it.

Great umbrella
Very well made umbrella. Love the pockets on the carrying case and webbed straps with padding. Umbrella size is full 8’ lots of shade.. the turning pc was very sturdy and got into the sand easily .. and did not pull out with a wind gust when properly screwed in

Sand Anchor and Sand bag for stability Included!
This is a really well-made umbrella. It has a plastic ring that goes around the umbrella that you can hang towels. It came with a sand anchor that you can screw into the sand and then insert the umbrella which if anyone has ever used an umbrella at the beach news this is the way to make your umbrella stay in place with strong winds additionally it has a sandbag with a line that you can put on it to keep it stable. Also came with a shovel to help get you started if the sand is really hard how it will stand up with a good wind will have to be evaluated at another time. We did have it up with 14 mile an hour steady wind with no problem and we did have gusts up to 30 for the last few minutes while we were there and at that point we took it down the handy carrying bag holds everything. Next time we go to the beach, I will take some pictures to add to the review..

Great Beach Umbrella
This is a really nice umbrella. It's well made and very sturdy. We bought this and took it to the beach for a week. Typical Gulf Coast weather included some rain and wind in the afternoons and this thing didn't move. Other (more cheaply made) umbrellas were bending and bouncing around and this one didn't. It's big enough for two of us. The 4 star rating is because the sand spike which attaches to the pole and screws into the sand is a little wide and difficult to use. Tip: We take a 2" piece of pvc and use it to make a hole and then put the umbrellas in. Make putting the umbrella up WAY easier. All things considered, I think I will buy another one of these. We go to the Orange Beach 3-4 times each year and generally try to stay out of the direct sun. Very pleased so far.

Just right.
Okay. This one is a Winner!! Very easy to carry and light weight. Love the sand spike and turning handle. I buried it in medium wet sand on a falling tide. Easy to place the pole and umbrella into. It was light breeze and a few gusty winds at times. Never felt unsafe. No remember it was wet sand. Definitely could be different in a dry powder sand. Time will tell. Plenty of room for two beach chairs and our cooler. I’m modifying the strap on the bag to a handle. I just don’t like to carry anything on my shoulders. Personal preference. It was quit and didn’t fla or squeak in the wind.

Very good beach umbrella. Sturdy, easy to use and setup, hold up to decently strong winds and provides good coverage. Used it for 2 week vacation in SC and it preformed great.

Stable and sturdy beach umbrella
Best umbrella we have ever had! Very stable and sturdy. Easy to assemble, stays in place in the sand, and air vents on top prevents it from moving/blowing. The storage bag has ample room for fitting all pieces.
