Great monitor, great price.
5 stars... but initial setup was a bit tricky and the layperson might need to do some googling to get their color, brightness, and contrast right. I had to do a combination of monitor settings changes, in addition to changing the color scheme on the Mac settings side. But in the end, they do match the 5k iMac screen quite well. My minimum requirements were 27", 2k,144htz, DP, and FreeSync. I needed two extra monitors for my main 27" iMac. These fit the bill nicely at the best price on the internet. When I initially plugged them in, I will warn, they seemed to be locked into 1080p and as a result looked quite pixelated and not good. However, after a few minutes tweeking the settings, and turning on FreeSync, they are quite close to my main monitor. Perhaps the color isn't quite as true as on my main 5k Apple monitor, and the contrast is noticeably worse, especially in displaying darker colors, but it's really pretty close, those are just nitpicks and one would not expect to match up a $1200 monitor with these at about $250... for the price they are FANTASTIC!!! I will also add that they do a good job of "auto detecting" which input is being used. I use Raspberry Pi's a lot so I'm often adding and subtracting inputs from these monitors and switching between the inputs is relatively easy too, requiring just 3 clicks to the monitor's buttons to switch from using a Viotek as a third monitor, to having it be it's own monitor for one of the other Pi computers. Really can't say enough about how surprised I was at these monitors quality. They also came with a dead pixel guarantee, however that didn't come into play because every pixel on the two of these I bought was perfect. Shipping was a bit slow, but that's on the seller and anyways we're in a pandemic so that's quite forgivable and they were only a couple days late. That's about all. If you're looking for a good main monitor for Linux, Mac, or even if you're slumming it on Windows (LOL), these are the absolute best bang for your gaming buck in the 27" curved 2K 144hz category.

Overall a great product. I would definitely recommend it.
I was looking for a good 27inch monitor which is either a 4k or 2k panel. I came across this model. There aren't a lot reviews on youtube for this product which is kinda shame because it is actually a great panel. Pros: 1. Lets face it, its budget friendly. I got mine for 260 bucks. 2. Resolution is amazing and color calibration is little bit on the saturated end. Picture and video looks crisp and nice. 3. Great response time. 5ms is probably an overstatement. I actually tested it. It usually falls somewhere around 6-7ms which is still great. 4. VESA compatible 5. Beautiful and subtly curved screen. Cons: 1. The HDMI cable included is trash. It doesn't really support fast data transfers required for 2k display. (I would suggest getting a displayport 1.4 cable for this model and not HDMI) 2. Stand included is not good. You're better off buying a VESA mount and stand separately. 3. Its not bright enough. Overall, I am happy with this monitor. I would definitely recommend it.

Best bang for buck monitor on the market
I didn't think it was possible to get a decent monitor brand new for this price, but I'm happy I was wrong and tried this. 27" never looked so good before. It's not huge, but it's a sufficient size for any gamer using a desk. 10/10 for price to quality ratio. Sure, it isn't alienware or some high end monitor, but it is definitely not a low end one nor some cheap junk either. The samsung panel is this is no joke. Mine was delivered a whole week early. Not a single dead pixel to be found, and no issues out of the box. Comes with assembly gear (screwdriver and screws), a power cord and a display cord. It's not the sleekest monitor around and you've probably never heard of viotek, but the bezels are relatively small, the screen is curved, it has display and hdmi ports, is able to be vesa mounted, has decent display settings, good resolution (2k), good refresh rate (120/144hz), good size (27"), good brightness (bright enough to be uncomfortable in a dark room), etc. The colors run a little darker than my tv's colors, but that's because I have my tv bright on purpose. I tweaked the display settings on the monitor and looks heckin good to me. I'm only running it at 120 hz now, but I'm pleased. Everything looks great. I might sell my 65" 4k samsung tv I paid $1700 for two years ago and just sit at my desk to watch tv on this monitor, now. It's that good. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get a cheap monitor.

2.5 years and now it's dead x.x
EDIT: I have to update this because I was incorrect on my purchase date. So the monitor died out after just 2.5 years and Viotek has taken it in for review. I bumped it to a 4 star and will go to a 5 star if everything checks out and I receive another monitor. The power button straight up stopped working. Whenever the computer went to sleep a purple bar (fragment) would form horizontally. I was fine with it and figured it was almost time to put this to rest. My computer locked up one night, so I powered it down, the monitor stayed on, with the screen stuck with the purple bars running horizontally. It was a good monitor for the 2.5 years I used it. The colors were fine, nothing super amazing but definitely better than my 1080p monitor. My only real con over the years was the black bar that ran around the monitor, which effectively cut off some display but I got used to it.

Worth every damn penny!
This thing is the biggety shizwah! I dont usually take time to review anything on Amazon, but I feel inclined to let anyone with doubts know that this thing is 100% worth all the money! It arrived sooner than it said it would, and in one piece. I wish the packaging was a little more discreet because it sat on my porch and advertised exactly what it was, but I picked it up 30 seconds after the guy dropped it off🤷♂️ Beyond that, the price is an absolute steal! 144hz refresh, 27in monitor, and crystal clear colors with deep hue and buttery smooth transitions? Under the $350-400 price range?? It honestly could have almost doubled in price and I wouldnt have even blinked, the quality is that secure. If you're looking for a solid $200 monitor for school work/gaming/back up 2nd display, whatever, stop looking and buy this stupid thing now. It will instantly change everything you ever loved or cared about in this world and immediately satisfy you with an appreciation of "the finer things in life" It took me a hot minute to get it set up and change my pc settings because it does have different specs than what I was used to, but a quick 5 min. YouTube search will fix that.

Great
My monitor works just fine. If you’re on the fence about it and are looking for better than the baseline but not top of the line, I’d say go for it. I picked it because it was a good value for a curved monitor. Personally, I love it. I never thought I could afford a “fancy” monitor, though this was still a little out of my price range. I don’t use it for gaming, unfortunately, so can’t speak to that, but videos and documents look great on it. No missing pixels. HDMI cord (not included) had some problems staying connected - could be an issue with the monitor’s port but I’m not sure. The little tabs on the back plastic panel broke off when I was first putting it together, but that was my fault probably, and doesn’t really make a difference (just exposes the cords in the back a bit). Despite these concerns, I’m still quite happy with the purchase.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugle
32" 144Hz 2560x1440p - The Good - Zero dead pixels, 1440p, 144Hz, 3 year warrenty, $349. Good color and response time. Bright picture. Screen is larger than what I wanted for a 1440p but for the price it was a good deal. The Bad - This is my 2nd monitor. My first one (27" 2560x1440p) can in with a huge crack down the middle and was immediately returned. There were no options to replace and out of stock. I waited about 2 weeks and the 32" version was available. 27" is best for 1440p but for the price I decided to go with the 32". The Ugle - Nothing to mention at this time. Only had it for a week.

overall, slightly disappointed. great for workstations, well below average for gaming
with a little tweaking of the settings, this monitor can look pretty good and fits the bill for a standard 1440p 27" workstation monitor. any gamers looking for a high quality experience with the 144hz refresh rate be weary, though--- in comparison to 120hz monitors that i've own from top brand monitors, this one feels extremely blurry. while the response time feels very good, the refresh rate does NOT feel like a 144hz monitor. it must be something to do with pixel responsiveness being low. after testing across multiple games and applications, i would say this monitor decidedly looks and feels like it's actually running at about 90-100hz from a visual standpoint. the monitor says it's running at 144hz at all resolutions, but it just isn't quite as good as anything you'll get from benq, lg, gigabyte, asus, or acer--- that i have tried. the clarity on extremely high framerate games is not there in comparison over competitors, and it is extremely obvious, it's not really even close, it's very blurry. for a budget workstation monitor with professional oriented applications, this monitor feels very good, the colors exceeded my expectations with a lot of tweaking to the profiles, but failed dramatically for me in terms of gaming performance. Fortunately my old gaming monitors are still perfectly functional and I can keep this for work projects, but overall wish I would have just gotten a monitor with comparable resolution and size, but give up the 144hz for 60hz in exchange for a more reputable brand name at the same price, either that or spent about 50-100 extra for a comparable 144hz 27" 1440p from a more reputable brand.
