Ahmad Tea Ceylon Tea, 100 g

I am a great fan of Ahmad teas for their quality and reasonable price. The Ahmad Ceylon Tea is no exception. It has a pleasant aroma and a bold flavor, but it is not overpowering. Like almost all black teas, it has strong antioxidant properties which support immune and heart health. The tea comes in a very nice tin which can be reused. I am also very pleased that Ahmad as a company supports the Ethical Tea Partnership and really treats its workers and growers well.

This is one part of my tea blend, it is a great tea!

Very good tea. Ahmad is a bit pricey but their teas are much more balanced in flavor. More complexity than cheaper teas and much more forgiving. A longer or hotter seep doesn't result in an over extracted astringent bitter mess.

A few years ago (2020) I used to buy this tea all the time. Not a single time did I ever felt the need to throw up after drinking this tea. However, now I’m 2025, me and my mom drank this tea around 3 times and we almost threw up. We started feeling unwell. I don’t know if they are now putting in some toxic fillings to reduce costs or whether they are putting too many heavy metals in the tea. Whatever it is, it is really bad for a person’s stomach and body. It has made me and my mom almost throw up 3 times combined. We will not be buying this brand of Ceylon tea ever again.

The aroma of Ceylon tea is just phenomenal, the packaging arrived in perfect condition!

I love the taste of this tea. I love a nice hot cup first thing in the morning. The taste is just as good as black tea. Quality tea, and comes in a nice tin box.

It's pretty smooth and has a decent flavor compared to the dust you can buy in supermarket teabags, and it's friendly to over-steeping since it can be steeped for 10+ minutes without becoming overwhelmingly bitter or astringent. But for this price (currently $25 CAD for 100 grams), being "better than supermarket dust tea" just doesn't cut it with its lack of aroma and flat taste. That works out to about $1 per cup, assuming 4 grams of leaves per cup with one infusion. Ahmad has pleasantly surprised me with the quality of some of their other products (their bagged Earl Grey is fantastic), but you should only buy this product if you feel like paying $25 for a very nice tea caddy.

Pour le même prix nous sommes passés de 1 kg à 250 grammes!!!! Cest vraiment exagéré!!!

J'ai commandé 2 packs de thé en vrac de 100 gr chacun et je reçois aujourd'hui 2 boîtes (sachets) de 40 gr avec un assortiment de petits chocolats "belges"...! 1) je n'aime pas les chocolats. 2) j'ai commandé 200 GRAMMES de thé en vrac et je me retrouve avec 40 achets de 2 gr. Cherchez l'erreur...! ce procédé de vente est totalement répréhensible par la loi. J'estime avoir été lésé. Je crois que le fournisseur joue avec le feu. Je n'exclus pas d'en référer à qui de droit.
