Is this swaddle made with any flame retardants?

Why is there a slit on the bottom? Some people think its ripped, but its there on purpose. I'm not sure what its for though.

Yes, the swaddles are meant to have the slit in the back. The slit in the back is there so you can use the swaddle with bouncers and swings. We do not recommend using a swaddle with an infant car seat.
